The administration said a daily cap on the number of pilgrims has been fixed in accordance with Supreme Court directions to ensure safety and the smooth conduct of the Yatra.

The specialised mountain rescue teams will be stationed at vulnerable and landslide-prone locations along both the Baltal and Pahalgam routes of the Yatra, beginning from the Baltal Base Camp and Nunwan Base Camp to ensure a swift response in the event of any disasters or emergency.
