On Twitter, the streaming service shared a black and white picture that featured&nbsp;the main characters created by cartoonist Charles Addams. In the caption, it was revealed that Jenna Ortega will play the titular character of Wednesday Addams and is at the centre of the series&nbsp;with a stern face and characteristic braids.

Catherine Zeta-Jones will be playing Morticia while&nbsp;and Luis Guzmán will play Gomez.&nbsp;Isaac Ordonez will be playing Wednesday's brother Pugsley.

While Bill Hader will voice the new character Cyrus while Javon Walton will take on the role of the youngest Addams sibling, Pugsley. Earlier, Finn Wolfhard, at 18 years of age, played Pugsley in the 2019 ‘The Addams Family’ movie, but he has now aged out of the role.

With that in mind, I drew from the brilliantly original Charles Addams New Yorker cartoons for the look of the film and decided to tell the story of how Gomez and Morticia meet, find their house and start their family.
