<p>Central Asia consists of 5 countries Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan which with India sees part of its extended neighborhood and share civilizational, cultural and historic connect. Tuesday's meeting will see India being represented by NSA Ajit Doval and four of the five central Asian countries at NSA level or Secretary of security council. Turkmenistan is being represented by its ambassador in Delhi.</p>

<p>According to Indian govt sources, situation in Afghanistan remains an area of "shared concerns" for the countries participating in the meet.&nbsp;3 central Asian countries, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan share border with Afghanistan and have seen spillover from the current situation in Afghanistan. Taliban took over the country in August of last year as Afghan Republic collapsed and since then worries remains over the country becoming a safe haven for terror groups.&nbsp;Sources pointed that, "intensity of violence in Afghanistan has increased" and "number&nbsp;of groups active, including Jaish, Lashkar continue to maintain presence"</p>

<p>India has several times expressed its concerns publicly over terrorism emanating from Afghanistan but worries also remain over Pakistan support to cross border terror.&nbsp;Asked if the central Asian country agree on Pakistan's support to terrorism, sources explained that they are "aware of it" and "they know about the&nbsp;backward linkages" having interrogated and taken into custody number of terrorist.</p>

<p>A joint statement will also be issued after the day-long meeting on Tuesday, which will press on "all countries to observe international commitments" on acting on "designated individuals by relevant UN organs". This will be seen as a message to Islamabad, which has been seen having a lax approach over implementation of UNSC sanctions on listed terrorist.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On connectivity, focus will be on usage of Chabahar port given no direct overland access is present between the 2 sides. The port has been used to send humanitarian support to Afghanistan and aim is to integrate it with the&nbsp;International North–South Transport Corridor (INSTC) that connects Mumbai to Moscow.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Given the historic connect, the Tajik delegation plans to visit the tomb of&nbsp;Mirza Bedil in Delhi while the Kyrgyz delegation has requested a visit to Taj Mahal in Agra. Fake toy weapons and a vehicle—used in the commission of crime—have been recovered from their possession.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Jammu and Kashmir&nbsp;Police had received multiple complaints from the residents of Katrasoo, Matibugh and Tarigam and nearby areas that a group of masked men impersonating as terrorists entered their houses and threatened them with weapons thereby extorting money and taking away valuable items from them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>During the course of the investigation, a special team led by SHO PS Yaripora was constituted to probe the matter. Multiple raids were conducted at various locations to unearth the involved module.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Generating specific information regarding the involved module, the accused persons were identified and subsequently arrested at a special checkpoint established at Yaripora Kulgam. They have been identified as Nazir Mushtaq son of Mushtaq Ahmed Malik, resident of Pinjoora Shopian, Karman Ahmad son of Mohd Ashraf Deedad, resident of Draklarn Abhama, Khalid Hussain son of Mushtaq Deedad, Rizwan Ah Deedad son of Mohd Azan and Abrar Ahmad Teedwa son of Mohd Yosuf Teedwa, residents of Sangarwani, Pulwama," said an official of Jammu and Kashmir Police.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Police recovered two toy guns, one toy pistol, two cutters, five mobile phones and five masks from their possession. Besides, the vehicle used in the commission of the crime has also been seized.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Further investigation into the matter is in progress.&nbsp;Police have advised people to remain vigilant and report such incidents to the nearest police stations.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The same is the story of Adhila Nasarin and Fathima Noora, a couple who later made headlines this year when a Kerala court brought the two together after their families separated them.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Both met in high school and came&nbsp;close. They stayed in touch via video calls and chats as their families live in different areas of Kerala.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a telephonic interview with BBC Nasarin said, "We just tried the photoshoot because we thought the idea was interesting." She added that they both aren't married yet, but took a part in such a photo shoot. She said that at some point they both liked to be.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The couple claims they are still threatened with separation from Noora's family.</p>

<p>Same-sex unions are not recognised by Indian law, while the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court are now debating legalisation petitions. However, the Kerala High Court have permitted Noora and Nasarin to be together but they are not entitled to any rights or advantages that a married couple does.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nasarin though said frustratingly that wherever they go, they had to use their father's name or husband's name. She said, "We were at a hospital recently and had to give our fathers names. It was frustrating."</p>

<p>Both are relying on one another and LGBTQ+ organisations like Vanaja Collective to help them get together because their families and communities are not supporting them. The support groups are giving advice to complete their studies and find a job.&nbsp;</p>

<p>They claimed that their families still think that their relationship is a phase and similar remarks appear on their social media profiles.&nbsp;</p>

Nasarin though said frustratingly that wherever they go, they had to use their father's name or husband's name. She said, "We were at a hospital recently and had to give our fathers names. It was frustrating." Both are relying on one another and LGBTQ+ organisations like Vanaja Collective to help them get together because their families and communities are not supporting them. The support groups are giving advice to complete their studies and find a job.
