For more than two years, the coronavirus pandemic has been a major global health concern. During this time, countries have started large-scale covid testing efforts during this time. Most of us have undergone the Coronavirus test at one point or another, some more than once.

The prize, however, goes to China, whose rigorous Zero-covid policy and exhaustive testing have expanded beyond humankind to include animals, non-living things like trucks and more.

Newborns

Aside from non-human subjects, China is subjecting newborns to the painful coronavirus testing. Social media is already flooded with images and videos of young schoolchildren, kindergartners, and even newborn babies undergoing the test.

Food items

All of us have gone through the paranoid stage where we disinfected everything that came into our houses, even fresh foods like fruits and vegetables. However, two years later despite World Health Organization (WHO), claim that there is currently no proof that COVID-19 can be spread through food or food packaging, the country continues to randomly test foods, including different types of seafood, fruits like kiwis, etc.
