Born in Kolkata, Bhasha Mukherjee and her family moved to Derby in England when she was nine-years-old.
Life before pageant
Bhasha Mukherjee was a junior doctor specialising in respiratory medicine before competing in the Miss World pageant representing England in December 2019.
Fluent in five languages
The 24 year old is a also a confident oratar and is fluent in five different languages:English, French, German, Hindi and Bengali.
Beauty with brain
Model turned doctor has an IQ of 146 making her officially a ‘genius’. She has two different medical degrees- one in medical sciences and one in medicine and surgery.
Miss India competition
In 2015, she was approached to be a part of Miss India competition. However, she had to turn it down because she was in the middle of her first year in medical school and didn't want to give her studies up due to the competition.
Miss World pageant
Bhasha went back to the UK after the situation in the country became worse. Her colleagues at the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston apprised her of their situation.
