Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013)
Its a tremendous biopic drama by Rakesh O.P Mehra that doesn't unnecessarily glorify its subject. The biopic titled 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' features actor Farhan Akhtar in the lead role as 'Flying Sikh Milkha Singh', who loses his family in the India-Pakistan partition to rise as a sprinter who represents India at several international sports events and wins several medals for the country.

Mary Kom (2014)
When a biopic is made, realism is one of the things which is high on priority. The main reason why 'Mary Kom' appealed to the audience was because it not only gave you a ringside view of boxing, it left you rooting for our sportsmen who have put India on the world map. Priyanka Chopra gave a remarkable performance as the famed boxer.

Neerja (2016)
'Neerja' based on slain air-hostess Neerja Bhanot's life turned out to be an inspiration for the people, especially the youth, who were largely unaware of her brave act. One of the finest biopics made in Bollywood in recent times, the film showcased a heartfelt, intricate performance from Sonam Kapoor as Neerja. The biopic tells the story of Neerja Bhanot gave up her life, two days before she would have turned 23, to save travellers during a terrorist-hijack of a Pan-Am flight at Karachi international airport in Pakistan on September 5, 1986.

Sanju (2018)
'Sanju' is a 2018 Indian biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani with Ranbir Kapoor in the lead . This is the first time that a biopic has been made on a person hailing from Bollywood and has already broken several records including one of registering the highest opening of the weekend collection at the box office this year with Rs 120.06 crore.
