Preparations are in full swing at the Kapoor household as the family gears up for Sonam Kapoor's wedding. The actress will be tying the knot with Delhi-based Anand Ahuja in Mumbai on 8th May. 

On Friday, Anand Ahuja, groom-to-be was spotted at the Mumbai airport. Anand smiled for the lenses before making a quick dash towards his car.

A few days back, images of the wedding cards were doing the rounds. Now, more details about the two-day event have emerged. 

The festivities will begin from 7th May onwards. The sangeet function will have Sonam's cousin dancing to Sonam's hit numbers including a few songs from her upcoming film 'Veere Di Wedding'.

Star performers

Arjun, Anshula, Janhvi Kapoor are expected to put up performances. Ranveer Singh, who is Sonam's cousin from her mother's side is also likely to dance with buddy Arjun Kapoor on some Anil Kapoor's hit numbers. Anil Kapoor, father of the bride, will perform with his friend Anupam Kher.

The wedding, that will take place at Sonam's aunt house on the morning of 8th May. It will be a traditional Sikh wedding in the morning. The Ahujas and Kapoor will host a reception in the evening on the same day.

While rumours suggest Sonam will wear an Anamika Khanna outfit, there is no official word on which designer will dress the bride for her D-Day. Media reports suggest that Anand Ahuja will be wearing Raghavendra Rathore's creation for his wedding day. 

The Kapoor men have also reportedly approached Raghavendra to dress them for the wedding functions.

Guest list

Almost the entire Bollywood is expected to be part of the wedding. However, sources have stated Deepika Padukone will be skipping the event as she is all set to mnake her appearance at the Met Gala on May 7th.
