Those who took oath of office as cabinet ministers are — Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Jairam Gadkari, D V Sadananda Gowda, Nirmala Sitharaman, Ramvilas Paswan, Narendra Singh Tomar, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Thanwar Chand Gehlot, Ramesh Pokhriyal, Arjun Munda, Smriti Irani, Harsh Vardhan, Prakash Javadekar, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Prahlad Joshi, Mahendra nath pandey, Arvind Sawant, Giriraj Singh and Gajendra Shekhawat.

Those who took oath as minister of state with independent charge are:

Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Rao Inderjit Singh, Shripad Yesso Naik, Jitendra Singh Kiren Rijiju, Prahalad Singh Patel, Raj Kumar Singh, Hardeep Singh Puri Mansukh L Mandaviya.

Those who took oath as minister of state: 

Faggan Singh Kulaste, Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Arjun Ram Meghwal, V K Singh, Krishan Pal, Danve Raosaheb Dadarao, G Kishan Reddy, Parshottam Rupala, Ramdas Athawale, Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, Babul Supriyo, Sanjeev Kumar Balyan, Dhotre Sanjay Shamrao, Anurag Singh Thakur, Angadi Suresh Channabasappa, Nityanand Rai, Rattan Lal Kataria, V Muraleedharan, Renuka Singh Saruta, Som Parkash, Rameswar Teli, Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Kailash Choudhary, Debasree Chaudhuri.

Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar takes oath as Cabinet Minister in the Narendra Modi government. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar is an Indian diplomat who served as the Foreign Secretary from January 2015 to January 2018.

Reports say former foreign secretary S Jaishankar is likely to be sworn in as a minister in the Narendra Modi government today.

Probable ministers who will be taking oath have just left from PM-designate Narendra Modi's residence. They will now head to the Rashtrapati Bhavan for the swearing-in ceremony.

Guests have started arriving at Rashtrapati Bhavan for the Prime Minister's swearing-in ceremony. Narendra Modi and his Cabinet of Ministers will be sworn in at 7 pm. 

The swearing-in ceremony in the forecourt of the Rashtrapati Bhavan is expected to be grand affair with about 8,000 guests, including leaders from the BIMSTEC countries, opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, chief ministers, corporate honchos and film stars, watching as President Ram Nath Kovind administers the oath of office and secrecy to 68-year-old Modi and his ministerial colleagues.

Gujarat BJP chief Jitu Vaghani has confirmed that party chief Amit Shah is being inducted into the Narendra Modi Cabinet 2.0. He has tweeted congratulating Shah.

Leaders from all BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) member-states have confirmed their attendance for Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.The bloc’s member nations include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Thailand besides India.

Earlier in the morning, the prime minister held a final round of consultations with BJP president Amit Shah to give shape to his council of ministers before sending the list to the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
