Former India cricketer Vinod Kambli has yet again made headlines for all the wrong reasons after he was caught on camera limping on a Mumbai street. In a video going viral on Tuesday (Aug 6), Kambli was seen struggling to walk on a Mumbai street as health issues deepened for the former India batter. The video quickly went viral on social media with a few urging legendary India batter and Kambli’s childhood friend Sachin Tendulkar to help him.

In a video, the 52-year-old was seen taking support of a bike before he started to walk. However, he was unable to maintain balance and was seen limping before the citizens came to his rescue. He was wearing a green coloured T-shirt and was seen on the bike before being helped out. This is not the first time Kambli has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
In 2022, he was arrested for assaulting his wife Andrea Hewitt at his Mumbai home while he was caught drunk on camera on multiple occasions. He was detained for creating scenes in his apartment after consuming alcohol in the past.
Tendulkar and Kambli were childhood friends but their relationship got marred. In 2009, in an episode of the reality show Sach Ka Saamna, Kambli said he faced discrimination within the Indian team.

Despite this, netizens are calling Tendulkar to help his friend with whom he has re-established a good relationship. It is also reported that Kambli has been struggling financially in recent years and seeks help from Tendulkar.
The latest issues, however, suggest that Kambli is struggling with poor health and could need the legendary batter at aid.
During his tenure as an Indian cricketer, the left-hand batter played 17 Tests and 104 ODIs and was a member of the side that reached the semifinal of the 1996 ODI World Cup. He has almost scored 10000 First-class runs, making him one of the best players in the domestic circuit. Interestingly, Sachin Tendulkar once held the record for the highest partnership for any wickets in Indian domestic cricket.
