The cuneiform text was created by impressing reed styluses into clay. It was used by different cultures, which included Babylonians, Assyrians, and Sumerians, and each of them used it differently as per their language. Cuneiform tablet of sales receipt belonged to Akkadian Empire Minister Ersoy said that the newly found sales slip had been written in Akkadian, which was the Akkadian Empire's lingua franca. The Akkadian Empire, which survived for little more than a century, had its capital city situated along the banks of the Euphrates River and the empire's now-extinct dialect was among the most ancient Semitic languages - Hebrew and Arabic. As of now, the linguists are working on deciphering the text and in the first few lines, they found the sale and purchase of chairs, tables, and stools documented, as well as the identities of the buyers and sellers mentioned. “We believe that this tablet, weighing 28 grammes [1 ounce], will provide a new perspective in terms of understanding the economic structure and state system of the Late Bronze Age,” Ersoy said, in a statement. Tourists at Yellowstone National Park were seen running for their lives on Tuesday morning (July 23) after an underground hydrothermal explosion occurred and a huge cloud of black smoke and debris rose in the air.

Tourists at Yellowstone National Park were seen running for their lives on Tuesday morning (July 23) after an underground hydrothermal explosion occurred and a huge cloud of black smoke and debris rose in the air. The eruption took place in the Biscuit Basin area of the national park which originated near Black Diamond Pool, located nearly 2.1 miles northwest of Old Faithful. In the scary video, dozens of tourists are seen running along the boardwalk which goes up to the thermal pools and some are even heard screaming when large chunks of rock are falling in all directions. However, no one suffered injuries in the explosion, as per the United States Geological Survey (USGS), The officials have temporarily closed Biscuit Basin, its parking lot and boardwalks for the safety of the visitors.
The areas around Houston, Texas in the United States are being lashed by heavy rains, but the residents are worried about the downpours leading to the emergence of poisonous, foot-long worms which are a nightmare because they regenerate when cut in half.

The hammerhead flatworm is known to secrete toxins which can lead to skin irritation in humans if they touch it.

“The car started honking, it went crazy honking which we had never heard. I didn’t know how to turn it off,” said Cynthia, as reported by The New York Post.

Earlier, the couple believed that it was someone's mischief and that the fish had been hurled at the car purely out of vendetta. “Is somebody after us?” wondered Jeff. However, now they have most probably found the culprit who vandalised the car. “We also have an eagle’s nest in our backyard… We think it was probably the eagle,” said Cynthia. Watch: US: Secret Service Chief Kimberly Cheatle admits failure, denies resignation According to the locals, it is common to find the birds flying with fish in their mouths. The Levines suggested that the eagles must have dropped it. The Levines are now expected to get their car after the repairs. A message was issued by Jeff for any other birds who may target his car. “I lowered my deductibles, so if any birds are listening, please don’t drop it here because I’m covered now,” Jeff joked.
Scientists have made a significant but sweet discovery in which they found that dogs experience “emotional contagion” after smelling human stress.

Because of this, the dogs tend to make more ‘pessimistic’ choices, as per the scientists.

The study, which was carried out by the University of Bristol, is the first one in which it tested how odours of human stress affect the learning and emotional state of the dogs.

In the earlier evidence, it was found that the smell of a stressed person is affecting subconsciously the choices and emotions of those who are nearby that human.

In the trials, the dogs received training by placing a food bowl in one location where it had a treat and then placing an empty bowl in another location.
