5 Nutrients That Should Be Included In Every Thyroid Patient’s Diet

These five important nutrients should be added to the diet of every thyroid patient to enhance their well-being:

Vitamin E supports thyroid hormone production and protects the body from oxidative stress. Some of the major sources of Vitamin E are wheat germ oil, sunflower seeds and oil, and almond oil.

Selenium is important for thyroid hormone synthesis and changes the inactive thyroid hormone (T4) to its active form (T3). It is present in Brazil nuts, tuna, sunflower seeds, sardines, chicken, and mushrooms.

Magnesium regulates the production of thyroid hormone and supports enzyme functions. Dark chocolate beans, oats, quinoa, almonds, pumpkin seeds and cashews are a great source of magnesium.

Vitamin B is important for energy production and metabolism and supports thyroid function. Food items like chicken breast, tuna, peanuts, liver and sunflower seeds should be consumed for the intake of this vitamin.

Vitamin C is a good antioxidant and helps in reducing inflammation as well as supports immune health for balancing the thyroid. It is present in kiwi, bell peppers, broccoli, brussels sprouts and kale.

Moscow terror attack: Russia alleges US hiding 'Ukrainian involvement' in incident

<p>Bringing a spooky story to life, the face of a 16th-century woman - who was believed to be a vampire by the Italian locals - was recreated by the scientists.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the face, which has been recreated, a brick appeared jammed in her mouth which was apparently fitted inside to stop her from gobbling up the dead.&nbsp;</p>

<h2><strong>The story behind it...</strong></h2>

<p>The story of the vampire women started when a mass grave was found on the Venetian island of Lazzaretto Nuovo, a location which was used as quarantine during the bubonic plague in the late 1500s and 1600s.</p>

<p>The archaeological studies in 2006 discovered some bodies which were buried centuries back.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Speaking to the South West News Service regarding the bizarre discovery, forensic researcher Cicero Moraes said, “When they supposedly identified a vampire, one of those responsible for the plague according to popular myth at the time, they introduced the stone [brick] as a protective element, preventing it from feeding and also from infecting other people."</p>

<p>There were also theories that a graverobber may have placed the brick inside the mouth of the corpse to “exorcise” her so that she would not bite and infect others after dying.</p>

<p>In a strange coincidence, just before March 7, a warning was issued by the US Embassy informing Americans to not go to concert venues.</p>

The United States claimed that they had warned the Russian authorities about the possibility of a terror attack targeting "large gatherings" in Moscow, earlier this month. The statement was given by the White House hours after at least 93 people were killed outside the Russian capital in a mass shooting. "Earlier this month, the US government had information about a planned terrorist attack in Moscow - potentially targeting large gatherings, to include concerts" and Washington "shared this information with Russian authorities," said National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson. Also Read: At least 60 killed in 'terrorist attack' at concert hall near Moscow Watson added that US President Joe Biden's administration had complied with a long-standing "duty to warn" policy in which the nations or groups were alerted by the United States after it received intelligence reports regarding threats to either kill or kidnap multiple victims. In a strange coincidence, just before March 7, a warning was issued by the US Embassy informing Americans to not go to concert venues. "The Embassy is monitoring reports that extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow, to include concerts, and U.S. citizens should be advised to avoid large gatherings over the next 48 hours," the alert said. How 'terrorist' shootout rocked Moscow Some unidentified gunmen opened fire at a crowd gathered at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk near Moscow in which at least 93 people were killed and 140 others injured. The shooting took place during Russian rock group Piknik's sold-out concert. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. In a statement, shared on Telegram, it said, “Islamic State fighters attacked a large gathering of Christians in the city of Krasnogorsk on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, killing and wounding hundreds and causing great destruction to the place before they withdrew to their bases safely.” Watch: Terror attack in Moscow: US intelligence confirms Islamic state responsibility Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it “categorically rejects the accusations, which Russian officials started to make” against its country following the attack. The ministry said: "We consider such accusations to be a planned provocation by the Kremlin to further fuel anti-Ukrainian hysteria in Russian society, create conditions for increased mobilisation of Russian citizens to participate in the criminal aggression against our country and discredit Ukraine in the eyes of the international community." 10 Ways Electronic Cigarettes Affect Your Health

Electronic Cigarettes can lead to respiratory problems like shortness of breath and coughing because of harmful chemicals present in the vapour being inhaled by the person.

Vaping can also damage the lungs by decreasing lung function, causing lung inflammation and irreversible lung diseases like bronchiolitis obliterans, which is also called "popcorn lung."

There can also be adverse effects of vaping on the cardiovascular system, which include hypertension and an increased risk of heart disease. The chemicals found in e-cigarette vapour can cause the narrowing of blood vessels.

The highly addictive nicotine is present in most of the e-cigarettes. It can have different negative consequences on health, like anxiety and stress.

The use of e-cigarettes also interferes with brain development during adolescence and can cause long-term cognitive and behavioural issues.

Harmful chemicals like formaldehyde, acrolein, and acetaldehyde are present in e-cigarette vapour which causes cancer and other serious health problems.

The immune system weakens due to vaping and makes people more vulnerable to respiratory infections like pneumonia and bronchitis.

People using e-cigarettes can also experience allergic reactions because of its ingredients which lead to symptoms like itching, skin rashes and respiratory distress.

E-cigarette vapour contains heavy metals like chromium, nickel and lead which are toxic to the body.

E-cigarettes, similar to traditional cigarettes, emit secondhand vapour which can be harmful to bystanders and cause respiratory issues in people.
