As the cast is once again back to streets of Manhattan, makers released the first look of the lead featuring &nbsp;Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis reprising their roles as Carrie, &nbsp;Miranda and Charlotte respectively from the beloved HBO hit show.&nbsp;<br />

On Friday, Sarah unveiled the first photo of them walking on the NYC streets.&nbsp;<br />

According to a report by an American entertainment portal, Weaving will essay the role of Marie-Josephine, a woman who seeks creative fulfillment away from her empty, loveless marriage and defies her controlling husband to become the voice of Bologne's opera.&nbsp;</p>

“Yelena is the woman who is saying to her, look, you experienced this and you need to examine it and it's not okay... this is why you don't sleep at night, and neither do I. It's a very powerful experience,” she added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Hollywood actress and two-time Golden Globe awardee Michelle Wiliams is all set to revisit a prominent figure from the pages of history for the silver screen.</p>

<p>She will be essaying the role of Katherine Parr—the sixth and last wife of Henry VIII—in the upcoming period drama ‘Fireband’.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The film is being helmed by Brazilian filmmaker Karim Ainouz whose latest feature ‘Mariner of the Mountains’ is premiering at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival on July 9. ‘Fireband’ will mark his debut in the English-language movies.</p>

<p>The script of the film has been written by Henrietta and Jessica Ashworth, according to various reports.</p>

<p>Ainouz said that he is enthralled to bring the story of Parr to light for he believes that she has been ignored in history. &nbsp;</p>

<p>"Much is known about Henry VIII's tyrannical reign, and those who perished and suffered at his hands, but my focus here is on a woman who not only managed to survive but also, to thrive… This is a reimagining of a 'period' film, a psychological horror film set in the Tudor court; a story of intrigue, agency, and survival. Having Michelle Williams portray this remarkable woman, an actress of immeasurable talent and passion, is a dream come true," the director was quoted as saying. The film’s shoot will start in the UK next year.&nbsp;</p>

The film is being helmed by Brazilian filmmaker Karim Ainouz whose latest feature ‘Mariner of the Mountains’ is premiering at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival on July 9. ‘Fireband’ will mark his debut in the English-language movies. The script of the film has been written by Henrietta and Jessica Ashworth, according to various reports. Ainouz said that he is enthralled to bring the story of Parr to light for he believes that she has been ignored in history. "Much is known about Henry VIII's tyrannical reign, and those who perished and suffered at his hands, but my focus here is on a woman who not only managed to survive but also, to thrive… This is a reimagining of a 'period' film, a psychological horror film set in the Tudor court; a story of intrigue, agency, and survival. Having Michelle Williams portray this remarkable woman, an actress of immeasurable talent and passion, is a dream come true," the director was quoted as saying. The film’s shoot will start in the UK next year. Best known for her work in critically acclaimed films like ‘Brokeback Mountain', 'My Week with Marilyn', 'Wendy and Lucy', 'Blue Valentine' and 'Manchester by the Sea’, Michelle Williams will soon be seen in ‘'Venom: Let There Be Carnage’, which is the sequel to her 2018 hit film ‘Venom’ co-starring Tom Hardy.

But Weinstein, who is in prison in upstate New York, has been fighting this extradition since April this year. His lawyers have continued to object the extradition move, this time in Los Angeles.</p>

Weinstein’s lawyers have mentioned in a petition last month that the movie producer is suffering from a massive cataract in his right eye and an active lesion in the left. They mentioned in the petition that in order to prevent him from going blind, Weinstein needs to be treated and it could take anywhere between six to nine months. His team of lawyers have also asked that the extradition should be delayed until after the treatment is over and once the medical staff gives a go-ahead for him to be transferred.&nbsp;</p>

The report also said that as per the law, Los Angeles prosecutors have 120 days to bring Weinstein to trail once he is transferred. However, his lawyers argue that the District Attorney’s office knows it cannot bring Weinstein to trail within that time frame because he is not medically fit to stand trial.&nbsp;</p>

Reacting to the content of the petition this week, prosecutors said that the L.A County Sheriff’s Department can provide adequate care to Weinstein and that the District Attorney’s office has no problem with the 120-day deadline to start with the proceedings of the trail.&nbsp;</p>

This documentary is a follow-up to Cousins’ 15-hour long magnum opus titled ‘The Story of Film: An Odyssesy’ which released back in 2011. Other than covering the last decade of American and European cinema, it also pays close attention to Asian and Arab films. ‘A New Generation’ discusses the pandemic, too, and ponders on its repercussions: lockdowns, face masks, and social distancing around the globe.
