At a time when Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal languishes in jail after raids by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the agency has now launched a money laundering investigation against the daughter of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Veena, her IT company, and several others.

Media reports said that the probe is in connection to the alleged illegal payments of Rs 1.72 crore ($203k) from a private mineral firm - Cochin Minerals And Rutile Ltd (CMRL) - to Veena Vijayan's company, Exalogic Solutions.

The alleged payments were reportedly made between 2018 and 2019 even as no services were rendered by the IT company to the private firm.&nbsp;ED reportedly registered a case under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and will now issue summons to individuals linked with the case.

This action comes after the agency took note of the investigation by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO), a wing of the Union corporate affairs ministry.

Indian civil aviation authority off-rostered pilots of Indigo airlines after one of its aircraft hit a stationary&nbsp;Air India Express plane at the Kolkata airport on Wednesday (Mar 27). Media reports citing the Directorate General of Civil Aviation said that the body off-rostered IndiGo airlines pilots after the incident which took place during taxiing in the state.&nbsp;

The two aircraft were Air India Express' 737-800 registered as VT-TGG and IndiGo Airlines' A320neo registered as VT-ISS. The incident took place at the airport's Runway 19R.

As per reports,&nbsp;the platform criticises the Congress party and its stance on various issues. When Congress gave a ticket to Sunil Sharma, an alleged director of the platform, all hell broke loose, even within the Congress party leaders.

It triggered an uproar within the party and drew sharp criticism from senior leaders, including MP Shashi Tharoor.

The decision to replace Sharma came after mounting pressure and objections raised against his candidacy, primarily due to the alleged communal nature of posts made by Jaipur Dialogues.

Senior party figures&nbsp;voiced concerns, with Shashi Tharoor even suggesting that Sharma might have experienced a transformative "Pauline epiphany."

A delegation from Pakistan's commerce ministry is scheduled to visit Afghanistan on Monday (Mar 25) to tackle bilateral trade-related issues. Pakistan's foreign ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch confirmed that Secretary Commerce Khurrum Agha would lead the delegation on a two-day trip to Afghanistan starting March 25 to engage in discussions concerning trade matters.

Baloch highlighted Pakistan's commitment to fostering trade and people-to-people connections with Afghanistan and underlined the importance of addressing mutual concerns.

Joining Agha in the delegation are key officials including Maria Qazi, Dr&nbsp;Wajid Ali Khan and Khushal Khan.

Afghanistan also acknowledged the impending visit. Spokesman for the Afghan commerce ministry, Abdul Salam Jawad, said that Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi would lead the Afghan delegation.

Jawad highlighted the intention to discuss bilateral and transit trade issues, particularly focusing on addressing the ban on certain transit items which has adversely affected trade flows.&nbsp;

“We will take up the issue of a ban on several transit items. Pakistan has banned the import of certain items under the transit agreement. Around 50 percent of transit trade has been decreased due to this ban and shifted to Iran,” Jawad said.

<h2>Pakistan-Afghanistan strained ties&nbsp;</h2>

The upcoming talks come in the wake of strained relations between the two nations following Pakistani airstrikes in Afghanistan targeting alleged Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan militants. The incident followed a terrorist attack on a Pakistani Army outpost.

Khan Jan Alkozai of the Pak-Afghan Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry expressed optimism that the Pakistani government would address Afghan importers' concerns.
