Jurgen Klopp said the mood around Liverpool had been lifted after Mohamed Salah came off the bench to score the fastest hat-trick in Champions League history in a 7-1 demolition of Rangers at Ibrox on Wednesday.

The Reds had won just four of their first 11 games of the season and fell behind for the eighth time this campaign when Scott Arfield fired the Glasgow giants into an early lead.

But Rangers are being schooled on their return to the Champions League for the first time in 12 years as they crumbled to a record-equalling European defeat in the second half.

The Glasgow giants remain without a point and have conceded 16 goals in four games. "The first half and the last half an hour was night and day," said Van Bronckhorst. "I cannot explain it. The performance was not the way we want to represent this club."

Roberto Firmino's double either side of half-time turned the game around before the Brazilian teed up Darwin Nunez to kill off the contest.

Klopp had left Salah, Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota on the bench with one eye on Sunday's clash against Manchester City in the Premier League.

But they were brought on in the final quarter and Salah did not miss the chance to cash in against a beleaguered Rangers defence.

The Egyptian's treble arrived in just six minutes and 12 seconds to beat the previous record held by Bafetimbi Gomis in Lyon's 7-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb in 2011.

"It changes the mood definitely, and that's good," said Klopp. "We all know who is coming on Sunday. That will be different, but it's better to go in with the feeling from tonight.

"When we play to our potential we're a pretty good football team. That's what we showed tonight."

The proposal to purchase the nets was floated last month. However, WHO remained wary that the Pakistani government may not approve the deal. Incidentally, the date of the coronation coincides with the fourth birthday of his grandson Archie, the son of Prince Harry and Meghan. While Queen Elizabeth II's coronation ceremony lasted three hours, sources say that next year's ceremony will be cut down to one hour and have only 2,000 guests, down from the 8,000 that attended the late Queen's ceremony. According to Buckingham Palace, the coronation affair will be toned down as the King attempts to reflect monarchy keeping up with the changing times where spending taxpayers' money recklessly on a ceremony might invite bad press. "The Coronation will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry," the statement added. As reported previously by WION, royal insiders had revealed that the King wanted to keep his monarchy as representative of the modern world. "The King is very aware of the struggles felt by modern Britons. So [we] will see his wishes carried through that, although his coronation ceremony should stay right and true to the long held traditions of the past, it should also be representative of a monarchy in a modern world," said the royal source. Under pressure from most quarters for her tax-cut plans that have sent the economy into a downward spiral, UK Prime Minister Liz Truss vowed&nbsp;she will not cut public spending to make good on her plans on Wednesday.&nbsp;

Speaking for the first time in the&nbsp;House of Commons since the infamous mini-budget speech, Truss doubled down on her tax-cut plans while insisting that public spending will not be curtailed.&nbsp;

"Absolutely. What we will make sure is that over the medium term the debt is falling. But we will do that not by cutting public spending but by making sure we spend public money well," said Truss, adding that her policies would "protect our economy".

Opposition leader Sir Keir Starmer, however, questioned the government's 'borrowing spree' which has left the currency, bond and other markets spooked.&nbsp;

The Labour leader called for a complete reversal of the $45 billion plan. Incidentally, the Truss government has not yet outlined the plan regarding how it will raise the money.

Chancellor&nbsp;Kwasi Kwarteng has given October 31 as the deadline to outline the economic plan to stimulate growth.&nbsp;

Plans to oust Truss have been discussed amongst the MPs if she continues to persist with her 'hara-kiri' policy.&nbsp;Truss, under her largely unfunded&nbsp;financial tax cut plan, is looking to find avenues to save money for the exchequer.
