<p>The now-deleted post showed the Group B table in which USA and Iran have been drawn together. The post carried the correct flags of all countries in the group, barring Iran whose flag's green, white and red colours were present without the emblem of the Islamic Republic.&nbsp;</p>

<p>When quizzed if it was done on purpose, US soccer media officer Michael Kammarman said it was done to show "support for the women in Iran fighting for basic human rights".&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The FCC is committed to protecting our national security by ensuring that untrustworthy communications equipment is not authorized for use within our borders, and we are continuing that work here,"&nbsp;said Jessica Rosenworcel, FCC chairwoman.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"These new rules are an important part of our ongoing actions to protect the American people from national security threats involving telecommunications," she added.<br />

<p>Chinese companies have long been on the radar of Washington&nbsp;and the regulators. It all started during the tenure of former president Donald Trump, who was particularly severe on Chinese tech companies.</p>

<p>Trump was of the view that Huawei had deep ties with China's authoritarian regime and that the company was rigging its 5G equipment to act as spy tools for the Politburo.</p>

<p>Consequently, in 2019, Huawei was put on a trade blacklist; meaning US suppliers were barred from doing business with the Chinese company.&nbsp;</p>

<p>London Fire Brigade (LFB) has been termed 'institutionally misogynist' and 'racist' after a review conducted into the working culture of the force revealed a grim picture.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Nazir Afzal, the former chief Crown prosecutor for north-west England conducted the review and found that&nbsp;'toxic culture' festered&nbsp;within the LFB which gave rise to bullying and abuse.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"We've heard example after example about women who were harassed or sexually assaulted - constant sexual taunting to the point that I am now saying that the London Fire Brigade is institutionally misogynist," Afzal was quoted as saying by BBC.&nbsp;</p>

<p>A Muslim firefighter in the brigade was troubled and bullied to the extent that he had to be admitted to a hospital. He has&nbsp;since been diagnosed with Post-Trauma Stress Disorder (PTSD) and has had suicidal thoughts.</p>

<p>According to the review, the said Muslim man was ridiculed for his Indian accent. On different occasions, a piece of Bacon and a slice of pork was put in the victim's sandwich and pocket respectively.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I sat with a very senior female officer who said to me, through tears, that whenever she goes through a dangerous incident, she's always thinking: 'Will the men have my back? Will the men around me protect me given how they have treated me back at the station?" added&nbsp;Afzal.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Flight number PW 494&nbsp;had taken off from the capital, Dar es Salaam before plunging into Lake Victoria (Africa's largest lake), primarily due to bad weather as storm and heavy rains lashed the region.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The plane belonged to a Tanzanian airline company named&nbsp;PrecisionAir which operates&nbsp;passenger services to&nbsp;Nairobi, Entebbe and different airstrips spread across the country.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The company, in an official statement, after the crash said, "PrecisionAir flight no. PW 494, flying from Dar es Salaam to Bukoba, was involved in an accident as it was approaching Bukoba Airport.”</p>

<p>“The rescue team has been dispatched to the scene and more information will be released in two hours,” the statement added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Saturday successfully launched nine satellites aboard its workhorse Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C54 (PSLV) from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, located in the south-eastern state of Andhra Pradesh.&nbsp;This was the 56th PSLV flight of ISRO and the last one for the year.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The 44.4-metre PSLV rocket blasted off the first launch pad with a lift-off mass of 321 tonnes at 11:56 AM IST (0626 GMT) for the two-hour journey. The countdown to the launch had begun on Friday.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Out of the nine satellites, eight are nanosatellites. The Earth Observation Satellite-6 (EOS-06) also dubbed the Oceansat-3 is the primary satellite. The EOS-06 weighs 1,117 kg and was built at the UR Rao Satellite Centre, ISRO. 17.7 minutes after the launch, EOS-06 was injected into a 742.7 km orbit.</p>

<p>On Friday, Khan, in a TV interview said, despite being injured, he was determined to head to the garrison city for the sake of the nation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Going to Rawalpindi tomorrow as it is a decisive time in the country. We want to become a country that Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal dreamt of,” said Khan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While Khan embarks upon the march, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has advised the PTI chief to postpone the event as intelligence agencies have issued alerts that terrorist attacks can be carried out on the route.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“Security agencies have already issued a red alert in the city. Your own life is also under threat. “I also request PTI workers to refrain from participating in PTI’s [‘fitna’] march," Sanaullah told a local TV channel.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Similarly, last week, Aamer Farooq, the chief justice of Islamabad High Court said there is a high possibility that the PTI leader might be the target of another assassination attempt.</p>

<p>The Lousiana state police on Tuesday released footage of a shooting event from earlier this month where&nbsp;Deputy Rodney Anderson, a&nbsp;white officer, shot down a&nbsp;45-year-old Black man named Derrick Kittling.&nbsp;The video, recorded on the officer's body camera and the patrol car's dashboard camera&nbsp;shows Anderson pulling over Kittling, who is driving a pickup truck.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kittling turns off the ignition, stops the car and promptly takes a few steps away from the truck. Despite being cooperative, Anderson&nbsp;can be heard saying as he walks to Kittling, “Face the back of your truck, face your truck for me. Face the truck."</p>

<p>According to the official version released by the sheriff's office, the incident transpired in a residential area of Alexandria around 1.20 pm on November 6.&nbsp;</p>

<p>“During the course of the traffic stop, a physical confrontation occurred between the Deputy and Kittling during which Kittling gained control of the Deputy’s Taser,” read the report.</p>

<p>“As the physical struggle ensued, the Deputy discharged his duty weapon striking Kittling. Kittling was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but ultimately succumbed to his injuries,” it added.&nbsp;</p>

The Lousiana state police on Tuesday released footage of a shooting event from earlier this month where Deputy Rodney Anderson, a white officer, shot down a 45-year-old Black man named Derrick Kittling. The video, recorded on the officer's body camera and the patrol car's dashboard camera shows Anderson pulling over Kittling, who is driving a pickup truck. Kittling turns off the ignition, stops the car and promptly takes a few steps away from the truck. Despite being cooperative, Anderson can be heard saying as he walks to Kittling, “Face the back of your truck, face your truck for me. Face the truck." After trying to grab Kittling's wrist forcefully, a tussle ensues between the duo. “Shots fired. Shots fired,” Anderson says into his radio after the tussle. Murphy (@shanermurph) November 20, 2022 × According to the official version released by the sheriff's office, the incident transpired in a residential area of Alexandria around 1.20 pm on November 6. “During the course of the traffic stop, a physical confrontation occurred between the Deputy and Kittling during which Kittling gained control of the Deputy’s Taser,” read the report. “As the physical struggle ensued, the Deputy discharged his duty weapon striking Kittling. After the video was released, Crump said Kittling's death was “unwarranted” and “completely preventable". “Law enforcement officers who act without consideration of the deadly consequences of using force should not be serving our communities.
