The SCO's Council of Heads of State – Members adopted the SCO Development Strategy till 2035 which outlined the collective contributions in the wake of Belarus getting membership status.&nbsp;

As part of the key resolutions were the co-operation programmes to combat separatism, terrorism, and extremism for 2025-2027.

They also adopted the Anti-Drug Strategy for the next five years and the corresponding Action Programme.

They also approved the Economic Development Strategy’s Action Plan until 2030 and strategies for energy cooperation till 2030.

The countries also committed to signing a memorandum of understanding between the Central Asian Regional Information Coordination Centre and the SCO Secretariat to combat illicit drug trafficking.&nbsp;

"We will not forget, we will not forgive and we will continue to resist," said the protester.&nbsp;

The protesters were led away by the police around 11:30 am local time (0130 GMT). Till then, people were advised by police and security to avoid walking directly under the protest at the building's main entrance. &nbsp;

Taking to social media platform X, opposition Home Affairs spokesperson James Paterson in a post called the protest a "serious breach of the Parliament's security."

"The building was modified at great expense to prevent incursions like this," he said, adding, "An investigation is required".

As per the US National Hurricane Center (NHC), Hurricane Beryl was pulling away from Jamaica late on Wednesday and was expected to pass just south of the Cayman Islands overnight. From there, it is expected to move to Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula.

Mexico, as per AFP, is scrambling to brace for the deadly storm. Hurricane Beryl is expected to bring with it damaging winds, a dangerous storm surge and heavy rainfall over the Yucatán Peninsula and Belize.

As of Wednesday night, Beryl was packing maximum sustained winds of 130 mph (209.21 km/h), said the NHC. While the force of the winds is expected to weaken somewhat in the next day or two, the NHC warned that Beryl would remain at or near major hurricane strength as it passed the Cayman Islands.

The Mexican government has prepared 112 shelters, each with a capacity to shelter around 20,000 people. Furthermore, schools have been suspended in the state of Quintana Roo, where Beryl is expected to hit with all its mighty force.

Even as the Hurricane moves towards Mexico, the NHC predicted that overnight, Jamaica may still experience "life-threatening flash flooding and mudslides from heavy rainfall".

The significant number of withdrawals ahead of the runoff makes that outcome less likely. One poll released on Wednesday predicted that the RN would not secure a majority on Sunday, projecting between 190 and 220 seats.
