Story highlights

The US‑Iran war continues, with a rescue of a downed F‑15E pilot inside Iran confirmed after a high‑risk mission, amid ongoing air operations by US and Israeli forces and escalating strikes across the region. Global tensions and battles over the Strait of Hormuz persist.

US‑Iran‑Israel War Highlights | The conflict in West Asia that erupted on February 28 — triggered by coordinated strikes inside Iran by the United States and Israel — has now entered its second month with escalating tension across the region. Iran’s long‑time Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has died, and his successor, Mojtaba Khamenei, has assumed leadership, though he has yet to appear publicly. Meanwhile, Tehran has intensified its retaliation, launching counterattacks not only against Israeli targets but also against US forces and bases throughout the Gulf. While US is now eager for a deal again, Iran is only exchanging messages via friendly nations, and has ruled out any sort of negotiations directly.

The confrontations have continued with a series of deadly strikes that have claimed the lives of multiple Iranian commanders. Iran‑aligned militant groups such as the Houthis and Hezbollah have entered the fray, expanding hostilities beyond Iran’s borders. In a significant strategic move, Iran has closed the crucial Strait of Hormuz, threatening global energy supplies, while Israel has broadened its offensive against Hezbollah strongholds in Lebanon.

As the war continues, the big questions loom: how will US‑Iran ties evolve, and what consequences will this conflict have for regional stability and global geopolitics? Follow all the latest developments, analysis, and live updates on the unfolding US‑Iran‑Israel crisis.
