In India's Madhya Pradesh, the city of Indore has set an amazing green record by planting over 1.2 million (12 lakhs) saplings within 24 hours on Saturday (Jul&nbsp;13).&nbsp;

The record has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records under the title "Most trees planted by a team within 24 hours" announced a consultant working with Guinness World Records.

<h2>India's cleanest country</h2>

Indore has been declared the nation's cleanest city six times in a row. The record-breaking sapling plantation drive further reinforces the city's commitment to environmental sustainability.&nbsp;

Speaking to news agency ANI, Nishchal Barot, Guinness World Record Consultant said that the city has set a world record.

"More than 12 lakh trees were planted in Indore within 24 hours. The title of this Guinness world record was 'Most trees planted by a team within 24 hours'."

He said that the team started their record-making attempt on July 13 at 7:03 pm, and it continued till 7:03 pm on July 14.&nbsp;

<h2>Where were the saplings planted?</h2>

The tree saplings have been planted in the Revati Range plantation, which was divided into 9 zones and 100 sub-zones.&nbsp;

Amazingly, Indore broke the previous record in merely 22 hours. The whole plantation drive was monitored through 100 cameras.

"The good thing is that Indore broke the old record at 5 pm. Assam held the old record for planting 9,26,000 trees in 24 hours. The record was broken at 5 pm and a new record was made," said Barot.

"Then the counting started and then we got to know that more than 12 lakh trees had been planted. The numbers will be released later," he said, adding that the final record certificate will come from London.

"However, we have handed the certificate of the new world record to CM Mohan Yadav. Right now, a provisional certificate is being given. After the final numbers, the certificate will come from London, in which numbers will be mentioned that by this number, the record is being broken," said the Guinness World Record Consultant.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister on X congratulated the team and said, "Inspired by our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and with the honourable presence of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah ji, Madhya Pradesh has proudly achieved this remarkable feat, conveying a powerful message of nature conservation and dedicated service to Mother Earth."

An 11-year-old boy, Tiluck Keisam, who holds a Guinness Book of World Record and a Limca Book of Record added another feather to his cap on Monday.

Keisam attempted a new feat at Slalom Waveboarding event with skates and harnessed a fresh world record. He covered 5 laps where 97 cones were placed as hurdles at a gap of 1 meter each. Therefore covering a total distance of 485 meters in a single run within a record time of 3 minutes 40 seconds.&nbsp;

Tiluck attempted another record at longest distance Slalom Wave boarding, where he covered 40 laps with 97 cones placed at a distance of 1 meter each. Hence covered a total distance of 3,880 meters. &nbsp;

Srifort sports complex witnessed the mesmerising event by Tiluck Keisam on May 20. These were the first of its kind attempts by an Indian child. &nbsp; &nbsp;

A formal application has been sent to Limca and Guinness book of world records to get the records registered.

Tiluck started skating when he was four years old and has been passionately following it till present.&nbsp;

He practices skating daily at least for four hrs to achieve new milestones. The young boy is a student of the sixth standard in renowned New Delhi school. However, it is a tough job for his parents to strike a balance between his studies and passion. Tiluck wants to work hard on his passion so that he participates in Olympic for the nation and bring laurels for the country.

Dhairya also attempted to set records in two events, firstly fastest time Slalom Waveboarding with skates and secondly Fastest Time Slalom Waveboarding. He covered a distance of 30 meters where 30 cones were placed as hurdles at a distance of 1 meter each in 10.28 seconds. In the second event without skates, the same was achieved distance with cones was achieved in a time span of 9.01 seconds.

Cesc Fabregas received a Guinness World Record after becoming the fastest player to reach 100 English Premier League assists in 293 games.

That is 74 matches sooner than former Manchester United player Ryan Giggs who is second on the list with 367 games.

Fabregas' record-breaking assist came on 31st December 2016 when he set up Brazilian midfielder Willian's second goal in Chelsea's 4-2 win over Stoke City.

He credited&nbsp;Arsenal icons Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp in the process.

He remembered his most famous assist; threading the pass for Andres Iniesta to score the winning goal for Spain in the 2010 World Cup final.

"It was not the most beautiful, not the most amazing assist. But a simple pass broke the line… and it got us the World Cup," he recalls.

The 31-year-old made his Premier League debut at Arsenal in 2004 at the age of 16 years.&nbsp;
