Meet the new anti-hero: Vivek Oberoi signs three-season deal for web series

<p>Director Ram Gopal Varma announced his upcoming work to be in the form of a web series titled &quot;Kadapa&quot;.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The announcement was made Wednesday in a lengthy Facebook post by the director himself.</p>

<p>He wrote:&nbsp;&ldquo;The title is derived as a summation of what a region stands for in its bloodthirstiness a synonym of how violent power affects the internal politics of ambition, ego, greed and one-upmanship&quot; while describing the reasons behind naming it as such.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the post, he also mentioned that the web series will be shot based on the&nbsp;information that Varma has &ldquo;gathered over many years&rdquo; and his &ldquo;extensive interactions with ex-factionists to their victims, their relatives and so on.&rdquo;</p>
