Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says the U.S.-Mexico border wall will be painted black—on direct orders from President Trump. The goal? To make the wall too hot to climb and discourage illegal crossings. The move also aims to reduce rust, says Border Patrol.

Building the border was high on Trumps agenda during his first term. His second term largely focuses on mass deportation and arrests in the interiors of the country.

He?is also expected to sign measures targeting US "sanctuary" cities, where local officials don't round up people for deportation
