Slamming Pakistan foreign minister's United Nation General Assembly (UNGA) Speech, India has rejected the baseless allegations levelled by him and has said that "new Pakistan is cast in the same mould."

Indian diplomat Eenam Gambhir said, " we have heard are fake allegations and fake facts, which can only make for a fake vision."

India thrashed Pakistan for linking it with 2014 Peshawar school attack in which 132 children died. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan took responsibility for the attack.

Call it a "preposterous allegation" India said, "despicable insinuation made by the Foreign Minister of Pakistan dishonours the memory of the innocent lives lost to terrorists on that day."

Calling it a "desperate attempt to look away from the monster of terror" that Pakistan has itself created in its "quest to destabilize its neighbours and covet their territory."

Pakistan's foreign minister during his UNGA speech had held India responsible for the attack saying that it had "links with terrorists supported by India."

Back then India saw a major outpouring of support. Both houses of India's Parliament had expressed solidarity while paying respect to the memory of those killed. Schools all over India had observed two minutes of silence in their memory.

Pakistan's FM raked up Kashmir and even did a special briefing after his UNGA speech in which he was critical of India.

India also questioned the human rights track record of Pakistan and highlighted how Atif Mian was removed from the economic advisory council since he is an Ahmadiyya.

Atif Mian is a Pakistani-American economist and the first person of Pakistani origin to rank among the top 25 young economists of the world was removed from Economic Advisory Council of Pakistan by the new Imran Khan govt after pressure from the right-wing extremist group.&nbsp;

But the main focus remained on terrorism with India asking why 26/11 mastermind and "UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed enjoys a free run inside Pakistan and spews venom and sets up candidates for electoral office?"

Speaking at the 73rd United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said, "Our neighbour's expertise is not restricted to spawning grounds for terrorism; it is also an expert in trying to mask malevolence with verbal duplicity."

Highlighting how Pakistan gave safe haven to the architect and ideologue of 9/11 &nbsp;Osama Bin Laden, she said, "mastermind of 26/11 Hafiz Saeed still roams the streets of Pakistan with impunity."

Pakistan was recently put on Financial Action Task Force or FATF's grey list making it difficult for the country to take loans from the international market.

New Delhi said that "Pakistan's commitment to terrorism as an instrument of official policy has not abated one bit."

It is interesting to know that India isn't the only neighbouring country to raise the issue of terror emanating from Pakistan, Afghanistan was the first country.

Afghanistan's Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah who represented his country at the annual meeting said terror "breeding grounds and sanctuaries" need to be shut but the "response has been sparse."

Talks and terror can't go together

On the recent proposal of talks by the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, EAM said, "We accepted the proposal. But, within hours of our acceptance, news came that terrorists had killed three of our jawans. Does this indicate a desire for dialogue?"

Pakistani PM Imran Khan had proposed a meet between Indian external affairs minister and Pakistan's FM Qureshi on the sidelines of UNGA. India had initially said yes but after the killing of jawans had called off the meet.&nbsp;

This is not the first time India has faced such a situation with Pakistan.&nbsp;

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday launched a frontal attack on neighbouring Pakistan calling them a nation that is not only skilled in spreading terrorism but have also gained expertise in refusing their deeds.&nbsp;

US President Donald Trump accused China of seeking to meddle in the November 6 US congressional elections on Wednesday, saying Beijing did not want his Republican Party to do well because of his stance on trade.

"China has been attempting to interfere in our upcoming 2018 election, coming up in November. Against my administration," Trump told a UN Security Council meeting whose ostensible subject was on nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction and Iran.

Trump did not provide any evidence for the allegation. China did not immediately respond to the remarks by Trump, who was chairing the Council meeting.

"They do not want me or us to win because I am the first president ever to challenge China on trade and we are winning on trade, we are winning at every level. We don't want them to meddle or interfere in our upcoming election," Trump said.

Trump himself is not up for re-election until 2020 but November's voting will decide whether his Republican party can keep control of the US House of Representatives and the Senate.

Washington urged North Korea to freeze its nuclear program and prove its commitment to starting negotiations.&nbsp; 
 
Secretary of state John Kerry said that the US would not shrink in rolling back the provocative, reckless behaviour of North Korea. 
 
Kerry added that the United States would hold talks with Pyongyang provided it agrees to denuclearisation.&nbsp; 
 
&quot;The immediate need is for them to freeze where they are, to agree to freeze and not to engage in any more provocative actions, not engage in more testing, particularly in order to bring countries together and to begin a serious negotiation about the future,&quot; said Kerry.

The United States, Japan and South Korea on Sunday held discussions over North Korea growing nuclear capabilities, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Washington urged North Korea to freeze its nuclear program and prove its commitment to starting negotiations. Secretary of state John Kerry said that the US would not shrink in rolling back the provocative, reckless behaviour of North Korea. Kerry added that the United States would hold talks with Pyongyang provided it agrees to denuclearisation. "The immediate need is for them to freeze where they are, to agree to freeze and not to engage in any more provocative actions, not engage in more testing, particularly in order to bring countries together and to begin a serious negotiation about the future," said Kerry. He said Washington is deeply committed to securing peace in the Korean peninsula. "The global community will not be intimidated and will not pull back from our obligations," Kerry said. The foreign ministers warned that the North Korean test earlier this month would not go answered. It was the fifth and biggest nuclear test which was widely criticsed as an attempt to destabilise the regional and international security. South Korea said the nuclear tests were a threat to world safety. "What we see is a looming perfect storm that may not only pounce on Northeast Asia but sweep over the entire world," the South Korean foreign minister, Yun Byung-se said. "We must make North Korea understand that repeated provocations will isolate them from the international community and that there can be no bright future for them at all," Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida commented.
