Scientists have found that a prehistoric sea cow was preyed upon by two predators - an ancient crocodile and a tiger shark. The fossilised remains of the sea cow show that it was first killed by the crocodile and then eaten by a tiger shark.

Scientists from the James Cook University were tagging marine life on the northeast coast when the three-metre tiger shark they caught vomited a dead echidna -- a spiny creature similar to a hedgehog, the news agency AFP reported on Thursday (June 6).

Recently, the video of a kayak fisherman's harrowing encounter with a shark has surfaced online. The footage, captured by fisherman Scott Haraguchi's GoPro camera, showed how the giant fish attacked his kayak while he was sitting with his left foot swinging over the side.
