Dulquer Salmaan, son of Malayalam superstar Mammootty will be getting his own grand Bollywood debut with &quot;Karwan&quot; starring alongside&nbsp;Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar.&nbsp;

While the movie is yet to release, Dulquer has already been signed for his second feature film with none other than Anurag Kashyap.&nbsp;

As reported by a popular Mumbai-based newspaper, Anurag Kashyap who is in the process of hiring for his next film &quot;Manmarziyaan&quot;, has now signed Dulquer as one of the two male leads of the love triangle.&nbsp;

The film was earlier reported to cast Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. However, according to fresh reports, the film cast has been revamped to&nbsp;Dulquer Salmaan, Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu.

Dulquer will next be seen down south as Gemini Ganesan in &quot;Mahanati&quot;,&nbsp;a biopic on yesteryear actress Savitri, and as infamous Malayalee fugitive criminal Sukumara Kurup in Srinath Rajendran&rsquo;s next. Srinath had also helmed Dulquer&rsquo;s debut.

Produced by Anand L Rai, the film is expected to go on the floors from January 2018. A report in Mumbai Mirror stated that the makers were in search of a second male lead after Kaushal came on board. &nbsp;And they&rsquo;ve now zeroed in on Dulquer.&nbsp; 
 
The actor, who enjoys an immense fan following down south, is going to be making his Bollywood debut in Akash Khurana&#39;s Karwaan, which also features Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. The film has Irrfan and him playing friends who are on a road trip that begins in Ooty.

Incidentally, Manmarziyan was announced in 2013 with a different set of actors and director. Anand L Rai&rsquo;s film was to be directed by Sameer Sharma and was supposed to feature Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. But Rai and Sharma differed on certain aspects and the film was shelved.&nbsp; 
 
Kashyap was approached by Anand L Rai after talks with Ashwini Iyer Tiwari also did not work not. According to sources close to the film, the film will be shot in Himachal Pradesh.&nbsp;
