Anurag Kashyap signs Malayalam superstar Dulquer Salman for his next

Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan is already creating news even before the film has gone on floors, primarily because of its interesting casting. A love-triangle, the film is going to feature Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Malayalam cinema’s star Dulquer Salman.
Produced by Anand L Rai, the film is expected to go on the floors from January 2018. A report in Mumbai Mirror stated that the makers were in search of a second male lead after Kaushal came on board. And they’ve now zeroed in on Dulquer.
The actor, who enjoys an immense fan following down south, is going to be making his Bollywood debut in Akash Khurana's Karwaan, which also features Irrfan Khan and Mithila Palkar. The film has Irrfan and him playing friends who are on a road trip that begins in Ooty.
Incidentally, Manmarziyan was announced in 2013 with a different set of actors and director. Anand L Rai’s film was to be directed by Sameer Sharma and was supposed to feature Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. But Rai and Sharma differed on certain aspects and the film was shelved.
Kashyap was approached by Anand L Rai after talks with Ashwini Iyer Tiwari also did not work not. According to sources close to the film, the film will be shot in Himachal Pradesh.
