Accused In Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case, actress Rhea Chakraborty filed a petition to the Supreme Court last week requesting the case to be handled by the Mumbai Police. Sushant's father had filed an FIR with Bihar police last week accusing Rhea Chakraborty of cheating his son financially and abetting his suicide. 
 
There were reports that Bihar Police had gone to interrogate Rhea in Mumbai but the actress was reportedly missing. Quashing the reports, her lawyer Satish Manshinde on Tuesday issued a statement and said," The contention of Bihar Police that Rhea Chakraborty is missing is not correct. Her statement has been recorded by the Mumbai police. She’s cooperated with police as and when called. Till today no notice or summons has been received by her from Bihar Police and they have no jurisdiction to investigate the case. She has filed proceedings in the SC. She has sought transfer of the case to Mumbai. The case is Sub Judice." 
 
Manshide also has revealed that Rhea was not allowed to attend Sushant's funeral and her name was struck off from the list of 20 people who were to attend the last rites of the actor amid lockdown. 
 
"Rhea Chakraborty has always been living in Mumbai. She was in Mumbai on 14th June 2020. She was not allowed to attend the Funeral of Sushant Singh as her name was struck off from the list of 20," the advocate stated. 
 
So far Rhea has been summoned by Mumbai police twice. “She was summoned by Mumbai Police on 18th of June 2020 at Bandra Police Station. Her statement was recorded there. Subsequently, she was summoned to appear on 17th July 2020 at Santacruz Police station. She appeared and recorded her supplementary statement.”

Sushant Singh Rajput case: Rhea Chakraborty is not missing, clarifies her lawyer

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's untimely death has left the entire country in mourning. While the Mumbai Police have stated that the actor died by suicide and ruled out any possibility of foul play, they have been interrogating people connected to him to determine what let him to take such a drastic step. 
 
The police recently spoke to three psychiatrists related to the actor's case. Sushant had allegedly consulted all three doctors for a brief period of time. Now, one of the doctors has claimed that the late actor suffered from bipolar disorder. All three doctors have said that he was under major mental pressure but did not reveal the cause of his stress. 
 
What is bipolar disorder? A person suffering from the disorder undergoes behavioral changes rapidly. It is also called manic depression. 
 
The police have revealed that the actor reportedly changed doctors frequently and visited each of them only two or three times. Sushant started seeking medical advice for mental health since November 2019, the police have said. 
 
Doctors have also told the police that Sushant was irregular with his medication and since the lockdown was announced, Sushant's session happened via phone calls. The last time he consulted a doctor, he was getting treated for bipolar disorder, the police have claimed. 
 
Sushant died by suicide on June 14 in his Mumbai flat. More than 30 people have been so far questioned by the police in relation to his case which includes filmmakers Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Aditya Chopra, and the actor's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty.

Sushant Singh Rajput reportedly had bipolar disorder, reveal his doctors

The film maker was reportedly probed for around four hours &nbsp;at the Versova&nbsp;police station, as he arrieved station with two lawyers. Earlier, two ex officials from the company were interogated.&nbsp; 
 
According to news agency, police is finding the reason about a contract signed between Rajput and YRF from Chopra, and is also trying to understand the reason behind Rajput ending his contract with YRF, an official told.&nbsp;

Sushant was a part of two YRF productions films - 'Shuddh Desi Romance' (2013) and 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!' (2015). His third film was supposed to be Shekhar Kapur's 'Paani'. However, the project got stalled, the reason is unknown yet. According to Shekhar Kapur, Sushant was very upset when 'Paani' got shelved.
