Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor's tweet on the movie 'The Kashmir Files' has started a heated debate on Twitter with actor Anupam Kher jumping in and even posting a tweet by Tharoor's late wife Sunanda Pushkar.&nbsp;

Shashi Tharoor, who was in past&nbsp;Under-Secretary General of the United Nations, tweeted on May 10 that 'The Kashmir Files' was banned in Singapore. He posted a link from Channel News Asia.

Actor Anupam Kher, who has acted in 'The Kashmir Files' took exception to Tharoor's tweet and termed&nbsp;his attitude "callous". In his tweet, Kher posted a screenshot of tweets made by Tharoor's late wife Sunanda Pushkar. The tweets were made in the year 2013.

"...If nothing else at least for #Sunanda’s sake who was a Kashmiri herself you should show some sensitivity towards #KashmiriPandits &amp; not feel victorious about a country banning #TheKashmirFiles!," tweeted Kher.

Congress lawmaker Shashi Tharoor on Wednesday moved an application in a Special court here seeking permission to travel to three different countries on different dates.

Tharoor has to seek the court`s permission to travel abroad as he is out on bail in the murder case of his wife, Sunanda Pushkar.

Pushkar was found dead in a suite of a luxury hotel in the city on the night of January 17, 2014. Tharoor was later charged under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) including for abetment to suicide and cruelty.

The lawmaker was granted bail on a condition that he has to seek prior permission of the court before travelling abroad.From November 14 to 18, Tharoor will be in Dubai.

The leader will be in Oman from December 15 to 17. He will travel to the USA and Mexico from December 28 to January for a family get-together.&nbsp;

The counsel representing Congress lawmaker Shashi Tharoor accused in the murder case of his wife Sunanda Pushkar, on Thursday sought that the tweet posted by the latter just before her demise be made a part of the charge sheet.

Asserting that the Delhi Police did not add Sunanda's tweets to the charge sheet, senior advocate Vikas Pahwa told the Special court at Rouse Avenue Court Complex that according to her last tweet, her mental condition seemed normal.

"Till 16th (January) she was tweeting. Even on 17th morning, the last tweet was at 4:46 am. Delhi police have not filed the tweet as part of the charge sheet. On many social media platforms, details were, however, added," Pahwa said during the course of proceedings.

The senior advocate said that there is no record to ascertain the cause of Sunanda's death. He said that according to the charge sheet, it is neither homicide nor suicide.

A Special court at Rouse Avenue Court Complex was hearing the arguments on the framing of charges against Tharoor. The court has now slated the hearing in the matter for November 15.

Special CBI Judge Arun Bhardwaj permitted Tharoor noting that he was given permission to travel abroad earlier and had abided by the terms and conditions of the court. It also noted that another court had already given him permission to travel to UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.

“Considering the fact that earlier the applicant/ accused was given permission to travel abroad and he has abided by the terms and conditions of the court, now the applicant/accused is further permitted to visit Saudi Arabia from February 28 to March 4 in addition to permission already granted to him to travel to UAE, Qatar and Bahrain,” the court said.

Tharoor had sought the court nod to travel abroad saying that he has been invited by Kerala Muslim Cultural Centre, Saudi National Committee for a UDF National Seminar to be conducted from March 1-3, and to attend a conference on the invitation from Zahrani Group, Saudi Arabia on ‘Indo-Arab trade in ancient India’.

He told the court that he has always abided by the terms and conditions and has never violated them in any manner. Delhi Police opposed his plea saying that invites are to be cross-checked for their veracity by communicating with the organisers. “Granting travel permission for abroad at this early stage of proceedings may hamper the course of the trial and consequently delay delivery of justice in this matter,” it said. &quot;Before going into the merits, we need to be satisfied on maintainability (of the plea),&quot; a bench comprising Justices Arun Mishra and Amitava Roy told Swamy.

Swamy told the bench that when the matter relating to the probe into Indian Premier League (IPL) was going on, the issue of Pushkar&#39;s &quot;unnatural death&quot; came to fore.

&quot;It took one year for Delhi Police to lodge an FIR. The autopsy report says it was an unnatural death. The FIR says it was a murder. Nothing has been done,&quot; he told the court, adding that he had thereafter moved the high court.

To this, the bench asked, &quot;what is the conclusion of the police?&quot;

Swamy then contended that the FIR said it was an unnatural death based on the post-mortem report.

&quot;The police must have come to a conclusion by now. The question is of maintainability of the plea,&quot; the bench said after which Swamy said it was a matter of &quot;public interest&quot;.

On the issue of maintainability, the BJP leader said he had appeared in many cases involving politicians, including former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister late J Jayalalithaa.

The bench thereafter referred to the conclusions arrived at by the high court on Swamy&#39;s plea and said, &quot;in view of the findings by the Delhi High Court, we need to be satisfied on the aspect of maintainability&quot;.

The bench asked him to first argue on maintainability of the plea and posted the matter for hearing after three weeks.

The high court had last year rejected Swamy&#39;s plea for a court-monitored SIT probe into Pushkar&#39;s death and termed his public interest litigation (PIL) as a &quot;textbook example of a political interest litigation&quot;.

Swamy, in his plea before the high court, had alleged that the police had &quot;botched up&quot; the probe and accused Tharoor of &quot;interfering&quot; in the investigation as a minister in the erstwhile UPA regime and later.

The division bench of the high court had chastised the BJP leader and his lawyer, who was a co-petitioner before it, for making &quot;sweeping allegations&quot; in the petition against Tharoor and the Delhi Police without giving any basis for such accusations.

When the high court had questioned the source based on which he had made the allegations, Swamy and his lawyer had said they would file affidavits to reply to the court&#39;s query.

However, the high court had rejected their offer, saying it appeared that they had concealed information pertinent to the case which they ought to have disclosed when they had filed the petition.

The high court had also said that Swamy ought to have mentioned his political affiliation as well as that of Tharoor in his plea as these facts were important to the adjudication of the case.

The senior BJP leader filed an application on July 31 in the Delhi High Court seeking within 45 days a copy of the charge sheet to be filed by the city police in connection with the death of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor&#39;s wife Sunanada Pushkar.

The BJP leader moved the fresh plea in his pending petition seeking a court-monitored CBI-led special investigation (SIT) probe into Pushkar&#39;s death.

Swamy had alleged that &ldquo;inordinate delay&rdquo; in the investigation and sought a court-monitored investigation by setting up of a multi-disciplinary SIT consisting of Intelligence Bureau, Enforcement Directorate, RAW, Delhi Police and headed by the CBI in the case.&nbsp;
