Sony Xperia tried to revive its dropping sales in smartphones market by launching new XZ2 on Monday.

The phone was&nbsp;unveiled During the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona.

It is capable of recording 960 fps slow motion at a full 1080p resolution is said to be competing with newly launched Samsung Galaxy 9.

Soni Xperia XZ2&#39;s main beauty lies in its camera with 19-megapixel motion eye camera which helps in shooting dramatic slow-motion videos.

The front-facing camera is 5 megapixel.

The company is also claiming XZ2 to be the world&#39;s first smartphone to offer 4k high dynamic range (HDR) video recording at 30 fps.&nbsp;

The device comes with 3D Corning Gorilla Glass and has 5.7 inches of display.

It is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor which will encourage users to stream more 4k content.

It also has 64 GB of internal storage and is expandable up to 400 GB&nbsp;

XZ2 has a glossy finish and comes in four different colours, black, green, silver, green and pink.

The price is not announced yet and is expected to be available by March in the market.

The Sony Xperia XZ2 comes in four colour models &ndash; Liquid Silver, Liquid Black, Deep Green, and Ash Pink. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, on the other hand, has White Silver, Black, Moss Green, and Coral Pink as the colour variants.

The phones include Sony&#39;s proprietary advanced 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera technology with 4 HDR video recording and f/2 aperture. The rear camera comes with slow-motion video recording at 960 frames per second (fps).&nbsp;The Sony Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact have 3180mAh and 2870mAh batteries under the hood.&nbsp;
