<p>After a case was filed against actor Sonakshi Sinha and four others for allegedly not performing at an event in Delhi despite accepting payment, the Bollywood actor in a statement denied the charges and said that she had to cancel the event as the organiser refused to make the payments.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to news agency ANI, a complaint was filed against the actor after she failed to perform in a show on September 30 after accepting a payment of Rs 37 lakh.</p>

<p>However, the actor in a statement denied the charges.</p>

<p>Sinha said she was approached to attend an event in Delhi. However, despite repeated reminders, the organiser failed to make the payments, she contended.</p>

<p>The organisers also did not send return tickets for the actor and her team, despite knowing that she had a shoot the next morning, the statement added. Several attempts were made to contact the organiser, however, they remained incommunicado, she claimed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>The actor said due to a lack of commitment by the organiser, she and her team were left with no choice but to return home from Mumbai airport.</p>

<p>The actor also accused the organisers of using the media to manipulated facts. ''If the organiser doesn't stop at this, Sonakshi and her team will be forced to take a legal course of action to set this straight,'' the statement added.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Meanwhile, ANI quoting Moradabad DSP Gajraj Singh reported that an FIR has been lodged against the 'Dabangg' star and three others on charges of cheating.</p>

<p>Investigation in the case is underway, he was quoted as saying by ANI.&nbsp;</p>

After a case was filed against actor Sonakshi Sinha and four others for allegedly not performing at an event in Delhi despite accepting payment, the Bollywood actor in a statement denied the charges and said that she had to cancel the event as the organiser refused to make the payments. According to news agency ANI, a complaint was filed against the actor after she failed to perform in a show on September 30 after accepting a payment of Rs 37 lakh. However, the actor in a statement denied the charges. Sinha said she was approached to attend an event in Delhi. However, despite repeated reminders, the organiser failed to make the payments, she contended. The organisers also did not send return tickets for the actor and her team, despite knowing that she had a shoot the next morning, the statement added. Several attempts were made to contact the organiser, however, they remained incommunicado, she claimed. The actor said due to a lack of commitment by the organiser, she and her team were left with no choice but to return home from Mumbai airport. The actor also accused the organisers of using the media to manipulated facts. ''If the organiser doesn't stop at this, Sonakshi and her team will be forced to take a legal course of action to set this straight,'' the statement added. Meanwhile, ANI quoting Moradabad DSP Gajraj Singh reported that an FIR has been lodged against the 'Dabangg' star and three others on charges of cheating. Investigation in the case is underway, he was quoted as saying by ANI. (With inputs from ANI)

<p>The film is directed by Abhay Chopra and will mark the debut of Sonakshi Sinha in Dharma camp.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In a statement to the media, Karan said,&nbsp;&ldquo;I think just like me, Shah Rukh is pretty much in the background. We have people and teams that take over the films. Actors want to leverage their brand value and equity and take it to another level by having production houses. Shah Rukh isn&rsquo;t involved on a day-to-day basis. He is a superstar and he has so much happening ...&rdquo;</p>

<p>He added,&nbsp;&ldquo;SRK and I work very well together -- we produced Dear Zindagi with him and now, Ittefaq. It is seamless and our teams are completely aligned with each other. Shah Rukh and I step in whenever required. At the final cut, we will see the film. Dear Zindagi was Gauri Shinde&rsquo;s baby all the way, Shah Rukh and I stepped in the end just to help and support the product and do nothing else.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Speaking about the movie, he said,&nbsp; &ldquo;Ittefaq is placed in the hands of a debutant director, but I can assure you Abhay Chopra has a sound voice because of the way he wrote the film and the way he has executed it. It is bang on time, the way we planned it. He has such a clear vision for it and I am sure when we see the final cut, he would have followed his vision to the T. I like collaborating with like-minded people. I collaborated with Sajid Nadiadwala and we had a great equation. Touch wood, all my collaborations have been very smooth. And you know that for a fact because you would have heard about it if it was otherwise.&rdquo;</p>

<p>The ready-for-release movie is a remake of the 1969 award-winning film of the same name that was directed by Yash Chopra starring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Bindu in lead roles.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If social media reports are to be believed, the trailer will be out tomorrow.&nbsp;</p>
