<p>Adhana started better of the two Indians in the final as he was placed in the lead at the table after the first 10 shots while amassing 92.1 points.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Manish who finished seventh in the qualification, had a very jittery start to the final as he gathered 87.2 in the 1st competition stage.</p>

<p>Singhraj and Manish then stepped up when it mattered the most as both shooters held their nerves against the early charge of the Chinese pair in the elimination stage.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Manish then dramatically dropped to the 4th position after the 18th shot.&nbsp;</p>

<p>But in his 19th and 20th shot, the 19-year-old Indian aimed a sensational 10.8 and 10.5 to grab the first place from Singhraj.&nbsp;</p>

<p>With a fight against the compatriot for a first-place finish, Manish finished with an 8.4 and 9.1 meanwhile Singhraj aimed 8.5 and 9.4 in his last two shots.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Earlier in the qualification, Manish amassed 533-7x points while Singhraj scored 536-4x points after the end of six series.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Indian duo reached the finals of the Tokyo Paralympics after a good show in the qualification event.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Singhraj finished at the fourth position while Manish occupied the seventh spot.</p>

<p>Adhana bagged the silver in the men's 50m pistol SH1 event on Saturday (September 4) at the Asaka Shooting Range and his fellow Indian shooter Manish Narwal won the gold medal, creating a Paralympic Games record as he amassed 218.2 points.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After the stunning performance by Narwal, India's National Anthem was played when both the shooters were being awarded the medals and the tri-colour was raised.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After the Indian contingent attained as many as seven medals in the last two days, Singhraj Adhana added to India's medal-tally in the ongoing Tokyo Paralympics with a bronze medal&nbsp;in the men's 10m air pistol SH1 final on Tuesday (August 31). &nbsp;</p>

<p>Singhraj clinched the third spot on the podium with 216.8 points and helped&nbsp;the Indian contingent's&nbsp;medal tally reach 8, highest-ever at any Paralympic Games.&nbsp;</p>

<p>While Singhraj has become the talk of the nation post his resounding success at Tokyo Paralympics, it hasn't been an easy ride by any stretch of imagination for the shooter. He took up the sport at 35 and coming from a financially weak background, Singhraj had to toil hard to survive in the sport as shooting remains an expensive game.</p>

<p>Recalling the way his family has stood behind him and how his wife sacrificed a lot to help him keep his dream alive, Singhraj had told Prime Minister Narendra Modi, "Shooting is an expensive sport, and it was not easy pursuing it. My wife sold her jewellery to support my shooting dream."</p>

<p>As Singhraj won bronze on Tuesday, PM Modi lauded the shooter and wrote on Twitter, "Exceptional performance by Singhraj Adhana! India’s talented shooter brings home the coveted Bronze Medal.
