'Bunty Aur Babli 2' to feature Siddhant Chaturvedi and debutant Sharvari

"I have two films in my hand. One is an action film, (where I will be) trained in taekwondo. Another one is a proper comedy film," the actor told PTI.<br />

"I am doing a film with Excel. But it is not my next film. The film with them is huge. It is a lead role," Siddhant added.<br />

Asked if any of the upcoming films is with Yash Raj Films, as reported, he refused to comment on it.<br />

Speculations are rife about director Zoya Akhtar planning a prequel for Siddhant's character MC Sher. But the actor dismissed reports and said he would not like to cash in on the popularity of the role.<br />

"I would rather not touch it as it is too scary. I don't want to cash in on that character, I want to move on. If I had to repeat myself I would have done 9 am to 5 pm job," he said.<br />

"Zoya Akhtar is interested in making 'Gully Boy' (sequel), maybe something on the Delhi chapter. There is a huge pop scene in Delhi as well so she may do a part two," he added.<br />

"I am not related to anyone in the film industry and I can't afford to miss the flight. I am an outsider, there is nepotism and other things also happen. I am taking time to read scripts. I happen to read at least three to four scripts a week.&nbsp;<br />

"I want to prove myself in a lead role and that script has to be bang on, so I take time to choose the right one. I believe every film is your first film. I haven't done much, I am yet to prove myself," he said</p>

Siddhant Chaturvedi's next an action film followed by comedy

<p>Siddhant Chaturvedi may be a star now thanks to his breakout performance as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy', &nbsp;but the actor faced his share of rejections before he landed his debut film 'Gully Boy'.&nbsp;<br />
The actor recently revealed that he had auditioned for Disney's latest release 'Aladdin' and 2014's 'Million Dollar Arm'.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I had auditioned for the lead role in 'Aladdin'. I was there in at least top 20 from India. This is for the role of 'Aladdin', they were looking for an Indian boy back then but then they decided the accent needs to be international. It was their call.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Then there was another film called 'Million Dollar Arm'. I did audition for it as well, it was not for dubbing. They had two Indian guys who play baseball, I did the audition for that. They felt I was too upmarket and fair for it," Siddhant said in an interview.&nbsp;</p>

<p>'Aladdin' is a live-action film directed by Guy Ritchie, while 'Million Dollar Arm' is an American biographical sports drama helmed by Craig Gillespie and produced by Walt Disney Pictures.</p>

<p>Siddhant has recently dubbed in Hindi for Chris Hemsworth in the upcoming 'MIB: International' and says he wants to pursue a career in Hollywood.</p>

<p>"I do believe we are no less than anyone else. It is a language barrier between two film industries - Hollywood and Bollywood and I want to break that barrier."</p>

<p>Siddhant, however, currently wants to focus on his career in Hindi cinema.&nbsp;"I am an Indian actor but I want to do everything. At the moment I want to focus here (on Hindi films) but I am open to the idea of working there (West)."</p>

<p>The actor said he was surprised when the offer to dub for Hemsworth came his way.</p>

<p>"I was looking to sign my next film and was reading a lot of scripts. My agent called me and asked me if I would be interested to dub for Chris Hemsworth's character in his Hollywood film 'Men In Black'. I almost choked. I am a huge fan of Chris, he is a superhero, he is Thor," he said.&nbsp;<br />
Siddhant said dubbing for Hemsworth was a challenge.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I was thinking if I can match his manly, husky voice as he has a baritone. It was a challenge for me. And I started doing rehearsals for it."</p>

<p>For the Hindi version, Siddhant said the team decided to give a desi touch to Agent H (played by Hemsworth) to make it more appealing.</p>

<p>"It is an action-comedy and you can't literally translate and dub everything as the jokes will then fall flat.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"I suggested to make it desi for Indian audience because their culture and humour is different. As the lingo of 'Gully Boy' has caught up in a big way so we thought of adding a little bit of that thing. But it is not there throughout the film," he said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>According to the actor, the desi touch that he added to the dubbed version of 'MIB: International' got approval from Hemsworth. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Siddhant shared the picture on his Instagram account on Tuesday. Dropping a subtle reference to Marvel film 'Thor', which stars Hemsworth in the pivotal role, he wrote in the caption, "Am I worthy?"&nbsp;He also added a thunder and hammer emoji to it.</p>
