Ryabkov stated that American deployments would influence Russia's military-technical responses, highlighting ongoing tensions in a region already strained by US-China relations.

Will Russia Deploy Missiles in Asia? Moscow's Big Warning to US | GRAVITAS

Moscow is furious over Western discussions regarding potential nuclear armament for Ukraine. This is escalating tensions in the already volatile 33-month conflict that continues to grip Eastern Europe. The Kremlin's sharp rebuke comes in response to mounting speculation about nuclear weaponry, revealing the precarious balance of global security hanging by a thread.

Russia-Ukraine War: Nuclear Tensions Reach Boiling Point

The Kremlin Tuesday (Nov. 26) condemned the West over the prospects of arming Ukraine with nuclear weapons. Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson for the Kremlin, was responding to a report by the New York Times which suggested that the Joe Biden administration of the US was contemplating providing nuclear weapons to Kyiv before the end of the term on January 20.

“Several officials even suggested that Mr. Biden could return nuclear weapons to Ukraine that were taken from it after the fall of the Soviet Union. That would be an instant and enormous deterrent. But such a step would be complicated and have serious implications," the Times wrote last week in a report.

While talking to reporters, Peskov said Tuesday it was an “absolutely irresponsible argument” of the Western officials to even think about such a possibility.

"These are absolutely irresponsible arguments of people who have a poor understanding of reality and who do not feel a shred of responsibility when making such statements. We also note that all of these statements are anonymous," Peskov said.

Former commander-in-chief of Ukraine has claimed that the world has already entered the phase of the third World War, with the direct involvement of two superpowers in the raging conflict—The United States and Russia.

Valery Zaluzhny, who was dismissed by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in February this year in a significant military shake-up, said that the Ukraine conflict had already escalated beyond a regional war and powers like the US, North Korea, Iran and China are playing a major role.

Zaluzhny’s comments possibly referred to Ukraine using US and UK-supplied long-range missiles for strikes inside Russia.

The former Ukrainian army chief, who is now serving as Ukraine’s envoy to the United Kingdom, was speaking at Ukrainska Pravda's UP100 award ceremony. “I believe that in 2024 we can absolutely believe that the Third World War has begun,” said Zaluzhny.

Zaluzhny highlighted that the alleged presence of North Korean troops inside Russia and the potential deployment of Chinese weapons on the battlefield showed that the Ukraine war was no longer a regional conflict.

"Because in 2024, Ukraine is no longer facing Russia. Soldiers from North Korea are standing in front of Ukraine. Let's be honest,” said the ex-army chief of Ukraine. “Already in Ukraine, the Iranian 'Shahedis' are killing civilians absolutely openly, without any shame,” he added.

According to reports in Western media, Russia has ordered the deployment of some 50,000 troops hailing from both Russia and North Korea for an impending counter-offensive in Russia's Kursk Oblast, parts of which are currently under Ukrainian occupation.
