The sequel of ‘Gladiator’ will reportedly focus on Lucius, the son of Lucilla, which was played by Connie Nielsen in the first film. Lucius will reportedly be shown as an adult who is ready to gladiate. In the first film, Russell Crowe’s character, Maximus met his end.&nbsp;<br />

This is not the first time when Ridley has suggested making a sequel to ‘Gladiator’ and there’s no surprise here as the film won several Oscars and was a commercial hit at the box office, becoming a classic in its category.</p>
