A man killed his wife and mother-in-law with a pair of scissors on Saturday (August 31) in Sector 17, Rohini, Delhi, after frequent quarrels at home, police said. The incident happened just two days after the family had celebrated the couple’s sons’ birthday. The accused, 40-year-old Yogesh Sehgal, earlier worked as an artisan at a jewellery shop but had recently lost his job due to undisclosed reasons. He has been arrested now. The victims were identified as his wife, 34-year-old Priya Sehgal, and her mother, 63-year-old Kusum Sinha.According to police, the couple often argued over small matters. In a horrific incident, a 12-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly raped by her neighbor in Outer Delhi's Rohini area, reports said on Wednesday.&nbsp;

What is worse is that the accused men took a video of the incident and circulated it to the girls family through WhatsApp. The police have arrested all the three accused, including the neighbor who raped the girl and two others who shot the video.

The main accused is booked under rape and POSCO Act, while his accomplices are booked under relevant IPC sections and IT act.

As per reports, a young man, identified as Bunty, and two of his friends were arrested on Monday night from Mangolpur Kalan area in Delhi's Rohini suburb. Police said Bunty lured the girl to a community center in their neighborhood, took her to a secluded spot and raped her. The two friends who accompanied him took a video as he committed the horrific act.

While the girl kept quiet and did not tell anyone about the incident, but it was on Saturday evening after the victim's mother received a video on her WhatsApp that she saw her daughter. When she opened it, she saw the accused forcing himself on her daughter. The video was circulated to many others on the mobile application. Later, the mother of the girl informed the police.

Moreover, the victims family are now being threatened by the family of the accused to withdraw the case and to leave the locality as they have a powerful hold in the area, reports said.&nbsp;

This comes during a time when the nation is expressing angst over the Kathua and Unnao gangrape which has rocked the country, with people questioning law and order situation.

A class 12 student committed suicide in the Bakhtawarpur area in Rohini on being allegedly stalked and harassed by a neighbour, police said on Saturday.

The incident was reported to the police on Friday.

The girl left a suicide note in which she named some boys who used to misbehave with her and claimed that she was taking the extreme step owing to the harassment, the girl&#39;s family said.

Police said they have registered a case and efforts are being made to arrest the 20-year-old man, who was allegedly stalking her.

&ldquo;The accused has been identified as 20-year-old Mayank. Efforts are on to arrest him,&rdquo; DCP Rohini was quoted as saying.&nbsp;
