<p>This announcement was made following an&nbsp;internal meeting in June where the employees were informed that there is a delay in promotions and that the company will implement a new evaluation process with “lighter-weight check-ins.”</p>

<p>According to a report published in The Verge, a new policy has been rolled out by the Tesla owner which is more of a “throwback” than “tech-forward”.</p>

<p>Musk sent a late-night email to the employees in which he announced that the stock options at X will now be given on the basis of the impact an employee has made.</p>

<p>A one-page summary of their contributions will be made by the workers to get access to the stock options.&nbsp;</p>
