Today’s test demonstrated the warhead performance on proximity detection," defence minister Rajnath Singh said in a tweet while congratulating&nbsp;DRDO&nbsp;for "two back-to-back successful test trials" of the QRSAM defence system.</p>

<p>The surface-to-air missile defence system was deployed <strong>eastern Ladakh</strong> in June this year amid the India-China standoff along the <strong>Line of Actual Control(LAC)</strong>.</p>

<p>The all-weather and all-terrain missile could be mounted on a truck and stored in a canister and is equipped with electronic countermeasures against jamming by aircraft radars.</p>
