<p>Arshad has noted that several Gulf countries have raised reservations about the behaviour of overseas Pakistanis in&nbsp;matters related to work ethics, attitudes, and criminal activities.</p>

<p>In the UAE, Pakistanis are involved in 50 per cent of crimes, the report said while citing the communication&nbsp;by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Additionally, there have been concerns about "inappropriate" behaviour, such as making videos in front of women in Dubai.</p>

<p>Kuwait has raised specific issues regarding Pakistani nurses who allegedly refuse to perform certain job-related duties, placing the burden on ward boys for regular tasks. These nurses reportedly do not attempt to learn the local language and seek to move to Europe after a short stay in Kuwait.</p>

<p>In Qatar, officials from the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis reported that Pakistani labourers have been found refusing to wear safety helmets during work.</p>

<p>Earlier in September 2023, officials had said&nbsp;that Pakistani beggars travel to countries like Iraq and Saudi Arabia under the pretext of 'Ziarat' (pilgrimage) and subsequently engage in begging. Official data states&nbsp;that Pakistani nationals account for 90 per cent of beggars arrested in these countries.</p>

Qatar is also alleged to have been part of these efforts "with the goal of toppling secular regimes" in Libya and Mali and "strengthening Islamist terrorist organisations and movements", said MEMRI.</p>

<p>In MEMRI's telling, the documents related to Project Raven revealed interference of Qatar in France, South Africa, Lebanon, and Israel through 'significant grants to government elements, political activists, human rights organisations and sports figures'.</p>

<p>Payments to politicians and public figures are apparently part of the operation.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In the past, those figuring in the leaked documents related to Project Raven included former French president Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni.</p>

<p>It is not conclusively proven from the new material released that the Israeli PM took money from Qatar. The funds were, however, offered to him and his party, as per the letters from the Qatar government.</p>

<p>According to MEMRI, the payments allegedly ordered to be sent by Qatar to Netanyahu are a grant of $15million in 2012 and $50 million in 2018. The funds, MEMRI said, were intended to be for the Likud party and were "to be provided in cash" to Netanyahu.</p>

<p>While it released the text of relevant leaked letters, MEMRI also made it clear that the documents do not constitute evidence that the money indeed reached Netanyahu.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The veracity of this claim can only be ascertained by a criminal investigation that will either confirm or refute it," MEMRI said.</p>

<p>Among those thanking Qatar was a former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen, the report claimed.</p>

<p>“This aid has undoubtedly played a fundamental role in achieving the continued improvement of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and ensuring stability and security in the region,” Cohen wrote in a 2020 letter to Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, as claimed by Times of Israel.</p>

<p>He expressed his “thanks and appreciation for the humanitarian aid provided by the State of Qatar during recent years,” to Gaza.</p>

<p>According to the paper, the government is criticised for the Qatari aid for Gaza, as they allege that it helped Hamas.</p>

<p>Netanyahu has generally kept silent on whether Qatar sent the funds to Israel, or how much.</p>

<p>The wounded included six cabin crew and six passengers. However, the airport authorities said the plane landed safely as per how it was scheduled.</p>

<p>Flight QR017, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, landed shortly before 1 pm&nbsp;Dublin time (1200 GMT), said the airport.</p>

<p>"Upon landing, the aircraft was met by emergency services, including airport police and our fire and rescue department, due to six passengers and six crew [12 total] on board reporting injuries after the aircraft experienced turbulence while airborne over Turkey," Dublin Airport said in a statement.</p>

<p>"The Dublin Airport team continues to provide full assistance on the ground to passengers and airline staff," it added.</p>

<p>The incident, as per the passengers onboard the flight, lasted for less than 20 seconds and occurred when the drinks and food were served, reported Irish broadcaster RTE.</p>

<p>Following the episode, Qatar Airways released a statement saying that a "small number" of passengers and crew sustained minor injuries and that they were receiving medical attention.</p>

<p>It further said that an internal probe would be initiated into the matter.</p>

<p>The incident occurred just a few days after a Singapore Airlines flight, that took off from London, was forced to make an emergency landing in Bangkok due to severe turbulence.</p>

<p>This claimed the life of a 73-year-old British man and wounded 100 others, with a few of them still receiving medical treatment.</p>

<p>The head of a Bangkok hospital said that some of the passengers aboard the flight suffered skull, brain and spinal injuries.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It was carrying 211 passengers and 18 crew from London to Singapore.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"The number of patients in ICU remains the same," Adinun Kittiratanapaibool, Director of Bangkok's Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital told reporters, referring to the medical facility's intensive care unit.&nbsp;</p>

<p>He further added that the "meaning of those in ICU are those that need close attention". He mentioned that currently there were no life-threatening cases.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Kittiratanapaibool said that his staff were treating six people for skull and brain injuries, 22 for spinal injuries, and 13 for bone, muscle and other injuries.&nbsp;</p>
