A new study has found that the usage of marijuana and psychedelic substances among young Americans reached record highs last year. In 2021, 43% of the 5,000 young individuals aged 19 to 30 who participated in the survey reported having used marijuana in the previous year, up from 34% in 2016 and 29% in 2011, according to the University of Michigan's Monitoring the Future study.
