I had made a commitment to Bumble to come to India in December, even before I decided to get married” and added, “It’s something I believe in. Nick and I both, our work has been very important to us all our lives. Our work has been something that has been a solid foundation for both of us. We understand that we can prioritise things.”</p>

<p>Priyanka has been vocal about the need for women empowerment worldwide. She calls the app something that would help women in India decide and choose a partner for themselves. She said, “‘I feel like the modern Indian woman today wants to have the choices of her future in her own hands. We have been told for a long time how our lives should be but I feel the woman now says ‘yes that's how my life should be, but this is also what I want’.”&nbsp;</p>
