According to reports, Bajrang Dal activists had, on Sunday evening, vandalised the set of the third season of web series 'Ashram' and also threw ink on Jha, accusing him of portraying Hindus in a bad light, following which four people were arrested for the ruckus. The incident took place in Bhopal, a city in Madhya Pradesh.&nbsp; 
 
A day later, a Madhya Pradesh minister on Monday said producers and directors will have to inform the authorities about objectionable content or scenes in their stories before seeking permission for shooting in the state. 
 
"We are going to issue a permanent guideline following the dispute over the shooting of Ashram-3. Now, (the producer-director) will need to show the script of the story to the administration before seeking permission, if they are going to shoot objectionable scenes which hurt the sentiments of any religion," MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra told reporters on Monday. 
 
He said the state government welcomes filmmakers to shoot their projects here but they should inform authorities about objectionable scenes before seeking permission, and those who have objections to a script or scene must complain to the administration. 
 
Replying to a query, Mishra further said he supports the Bajrang Dal's demand to change the name of the web series from Ashram. 
 
"I also support this. Why is the web series named Ashram? They will understand (the consequences) if they name it (web series or stories) after others' (religion)? We consider the ransacking as wrong. Four persons were arrested and further legal steps will be taken. But, Jha saheb (Prakash Jha), think about your mistakes too," Mishra said. 
Later, Mishra tweeted, "In the name of the web series, an attempt is being made to deliberately target Hinduism for a long time. Considering the spirit of the majority society, Prakash Jha should consider changing the name of his web series Ashram." 
 
Meanwhile, Bhopal South Superintendent of Police (SP) Sai Krishna Thota said Bajrang Dal activists raised objections and staged a protest over the name of the web series when its shooting was underway at Old Jail Premises located in Arera Hills. 
 
The protesters threw ink on Prakash Jha, pelted stones due to which the windscreens of two buses were damaged and one person was injured, the SP said.

`Good education is the greatest social leveller' is the theme of Prakash Jha's next film 'Pareeksha'&nbsp;(The Final Test), the filmmaker said here Friday.

The film is about an autorickshaw driver who takes children to school daily and dreams of giving the same quality education to his own child, Jha said.

The film's first poster has been released, Jha told PTI.

The film is in the post-production stage and the release date will be announced very soon, he said.

"Inspired by real incidents and real people, this was a story living and growing with me for some time. I&nbsp;am really fortunate to have had the collaboration of the right actors and technicians to make this film. The shoot is complete...We plan to bring it to the audience later this summer," he said.

"The film is about Buchhi, who drives children from affluent homes to an expensive private English school every morning and dreams of giving his child the same quality education,"&nbsp;Jha said.

"This dream sets him on a dangerous path. The rest of the film is about the consequences of his dream," said Jha who has made a string of critically acclaimed sociopolitical films like 'Mrityudand' (1997), 'Gangaajal'&nbsp;(2003), 'Apaharan'&nbsp;(2005) and 'Raajneeti'&nbsp;(2010).

Written and directed by Jha, the film stars Adil Hussain, Priyanka Bose, Sanjay Suri and Shubham Jha and is produced by Prakash Jha Productions. The director of photography is Sachin Krishn and film editor is Santosh Mandal, he said.

Filmmaker Prakash Jha, who essayed the role of a cop in 'Jai Gangaajal'&nbsp;and now playing the lead in the short film 'Justaju - The Longing', says professionally he does not identify as an actor.

Jha, known for making socio-political films like 'Gangaajal', 'Apaharan', 'Raajneeti', is enjoying being in front of the camera.&nbsp;

"I am not professionally an actor but there are people who now do think of me and there are roles offered to me. I am looking it as a new form of expression that I would like to bring into my life. I really want to do characters which I enjoy. That is the criteria," Jha told PTI.

The director is happy that his performance in the short film, that released recently on YouTube, has been appreciated. Jha won the best actor award for the same in the short film category of the first edition of New Jersey Indian International Film Festival.

Directed by Mudassir Mashalkar, 'Justaju'&nbsp;chronicles a day in the life of Valmiki, whose wife expired 15 years ago.

Jha, who made his acting debut with his 2016 directorial venture 'Jai Gangaajal', says he is happy with the different kind of roles being offered to him.

"I was really surprised they thought of me as I am nothing like Valmiki but he (director) was quite convinced. I thought it would be a great learning experience, trying to find that character so it was fun."

Jha says the director in him does not interfere with his acting process.

"As an actor, I do discuss things with my director. I follow my director's vision. But I never interfere," he adds.&nbsp;

Though he loves exploring the actor side of him, he equally enjoys directing films, which, the filmmaker says, is an "exhilarating" experience for him.&nbsp;

"Even if I am behind the camera, writing a script or shooting in front of thousands of people, it has always been enjoyable. It has been exhilarating and extremely enriching, learning process," Jha adds.
