John was embroiled in a bitter legal battle with Prerna Arora of KriArj Entertainment weeks before the release of 'Parmanu'. Media reports suggested that the actor had a fallout with Akshay Kumar at the same time as Kumar was the one who introduced John to KriArj. 
 
But those rumours can now be put to rest as both actors, who have worked together in 'Garam Masala' together, have refuted them.&nbsp; 
 
The film, meanwhile, is racing its way to the Rs 50-crore club at the box office in India.

Actor John Abraham, who said that "Parmanu&nbsp;is my child"&nbsp;and that he has fought for its custody is now celebrating the success of his film "Parmanu - The Story of Pokhran"

John Abraham, while interacting with media along with director Abhishek Sharma after the success of "Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran" on Monday in Mumbai&nbsp;said that "we don't value soldiers of our country".&nbsp;

In relation to his movie, John also talks about soldiers of the country who deal with difficulties in their life. He said: "I always say that they are the real-life heroes and we are just reel-life heroes.''

He further added, "I think they should not face any kind of difficulties. They protect us on borders and here by sitting in the air-conditioned room, we complain about petty issues in life."&nbsp;

While in further interaction he gave an example saying:&nbsp;"In Siachen (Glacier), they survive in -50 degree Celsius and in Jaisalmer, they survive in +50 degree Celsius so, I think we don't have any right to complain, whatever we can do for them as a country, we must do for them."&nbsp;

Talking about the success of the film, John said: "I am thankful for audience and media because they have appreciated our film. Abhishek and me, both of us are feeling very relieved and happy that this film worked at the box-office.&nbsp;This film not only has garnered a positive response from the critics and audience but, I think everything in this film has come together. I think the direction of Abhishek, my and other actor's performances has worked in the favour of the film, so it feels amazing."&nbsp;

The clash between John Abraham and KriArj Entertainment just seemed to intensify with each passing day. The actor and the production house have been embroiled in a bitter legal battle over the release of Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran.&nbsp

Parmanu controversy: FIR filed against John Abraham by KriArj

The film has suffered due to its producers squabbling over it. But now John Abraham-starrer Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran&nbsp;has finally got a release date. The film will release on May 4 instead of this Friday after its co-producers JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment ended up in a lockdown.&nbsp; 
 
The film's director Abhishek Sharma is happy as the movie`s release now coincides with the same month as the Pokhran tests 20 years ago.

The film will now clash with Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor starrer&nbsp;102 Not Out. 
 
Sharma said in a statement: "Much in line with India`s journey to becoming a nuclear power, our film`s journey to its release has also had its own ups and downs! However, it is perhaps a befitting tribute to the true heroes of our nuclear programme -- our army and our scientists, that Parmanu&nbsp;is releasing in the same month as we are celebrating 20 years of Operation Shakti - India`s nuclear test explosions in Pokhran in May 1998.

"We are extremely proud of the film and what it stands for and can`t wait to take it to our audience on May 4, 2018."

Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran&nbsp;is an ode to the Indian army and scientists, who although ordinary people, accomplished truly extraordinary feats in the face of adversity. It salutes, celebrates and truly embraces the slogan- Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan. While the premise of the film is based on true events, the characters are fictitious.

The film also features Diana Penty and Boman Irani.

JA Entertainment terminated the agreement with KriArj Entertainment after claiming that the latter committed "material breaches". They cited that delay in payments/non-payments have caused delays in the post-production work after the film`s principal shoot was completed on time and on schedule last year.&nbsp;

They were also unhappy that despite repeated follow-ups, KriArj Entertainment had not shared the distribution plan for the film.&nbsp;

On its part, KriArj Entertainment has dismissed the allegations as "false and frivolous", and lashed out at JA Entertainment`s "unethical fashion" in dealing with the film.&nbsp;

John`s banner on Monday announced the termination of a contract with KriArj Entertainment for Parmanu - The Story Of Pokhran, which has been delayed since last year. The film will now clash with Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor starrer 102 Not Out. Sharma said in a statement: "Much in line with India`s journey to becoming a nuclear power, our film`s journey to its release has also had its own ups and downs! However, it is perhaps a befitting tribute to the true heroes of our nuclear programme -- our army and our scientists, that Parmanu is releasing in the same month as we are celebrating 20 years of Operation Shakti - India`s nuclear test explosions in Pokhran in May 1998. "We are extremely proud of the film and what it stands for and can`t wait to take it to our audience on May 4, 2018." Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran is an ode to the Indian army and scientists, who although ordinary people, accomplished truly extraordinary feats in the face of adversity. It salutes, celebrates and truly embraces the slogan- Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan. While the premise of the film is based on true events, the characters are fictitious. The film also features Diana Penty and Boman Irani. JA Entertainment terminated the agreement with KriArj Entertainment after claiming that the latter committed "material breaches". They cited that delay in payments/non-payments have caused delays in the post-production work after the film`s principal shoot was completed on time and on schedule last year. They were also unhappy that despite repeated follow-ups, KriArj Entertainment had not shared the distribution plan for the film. On its part, KriArj Entertainment has dismissed the allegations as "false and frivolous", and lashed out at JA Entertainment`s "unethical fashion" in dealing with the film.

The fate of Parmanu remains undecided as producers KriArj and John Abraham have got involved in a bitter legal battle. &nbspJohn Abraham Entertainment has terminated a contract with production company KriArj Entertainment but the actor's production house has assured that the film will get a release date soon.

Parmanu&nbspwas scheduled to release on December 8 last year. Its release date got pushed to February 23, 2018 and then to April 6.&nbsp

But clearly, the film, based on the nuclear tests conducted at Pokhran in 1998, won`t hit the screens on Friday as all`s not well between the co-producers.

A statement issued by John Abraham Entertainment read: "In the best interest of the film, we have terminated our contract with KriArj Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and will soon announce the release schedule."

Termination of the agreement by actor John Abraham`s company "is valid and legal".

"KriArj has committed material breaches which left us with no choice but to terminate in the interest of the film. We would like to state that this extreme step has been taken by us after days of trying to resolve the issues at hand in the best interest of the release of the film.

"We have fulfilled our commitment at every stage of this project and intimated KriArj in writing from time to time.&nbsp

"We have been waiting and asking for payments at every stage."

But their payments have either "been delayed or we have received wrong UTR (unique taxpayer reference) number. Cheque payments have been stopped time and again".&nbsp

Delay in payments/non-payments have caused "delays in the post-production work after the film`s principal shoot was completed on time and on schedule last year".&nbsp

John Abraham Entertainment further lashed out at KriArj, saying "despite repeated follow-up, the distribution plan for the film has not been shared and there has been no transparency in their dealings with third parties".&nbsp

"We have till date not been privy to any signed contracts of third parties with KriArj, if any."

John Abraham Entertainment has time and again sat on the marketing campaign and the dates have been pushed at least three times, thanks to "delayed payments".&nbsp

KriArj "without our approval has gone out and made statements giving false reasons for the delay".

Any future attempts by KriArj to "jeopardise the film or defame the production house and/or the film, like they have done in the past with other films, will compel us to initiate legal proceedings against them".

The statement comes a day after KriArj Entertainment said: "In response to the trade notice issued by John Abraham Entertainment claiming termination of their agreement with us for the film `Parmanu...`, please note that the said termination is illegal and invalid."

"Our rights in the film as a joint producer/presenter and owner of all rights are fully secured, we have always fulfilled all our commitments till date and have clear intent to continue doing so."

"John Abraham Entertainment has also always been aware that Zee Studios are KriArj`s partners in the film from very early stages as co-producers and also the acquirers of the overseas theatrical, digital, satellite and music rights of the film."

They blamed John Abraham Entertainment for not fulfilling its "commitment of completing and intimating us of the completion the film and is fraudulently trying to delay the release of the film thereby causing huge monetary losses and damage to our reputation".&nbsp

The statement also read: "It goes without saying that any one dealing with the film or any of its rights through John Abraham Entertainment will be doing so at their own risk and peril and will also have to face legal consequences."

"We have already instructed our attorneys who will be moving the necessary authorities soon for seeking justice against the breaches committed by John Abraham Entertainment and its promoter Mr John Abraham."
