John Abraham tweets 'Parmanu' teaser; removes it later as KriArj files copyright infringement lawsuit

The clash between John Abraham and KriArj Entertainment just seemed to intensify with each passing day. The actor and the production house have been embroiled in a bitter legal battle over the release of Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran. 
On Friday, John unveiled the teaser of the film on Tiwtter page but the video was pulled down shortly afterwards as KriARJ filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against John's production house. 

KriArj released a statement as well, in which the production house cited, "This is to notify the media that sharing of any teaser / trailer / posters / marketing material released by JA Entertainment in respect of the Film Parmanu is illegal and infringement of our rights as co producers / co owners / presenters of the Film Parmanu and exclusive right holders of the Film and its marketing rights . A copyright infringement suit has been filed by KriArj Entertainment before the Hon’ble Bombay High Court earlier today which is due to be listed on Monday for hearing. The matter is sub judice and it is requested by one and all to respect the rights of KriArj Entertainment and not encourage the further dissemination of any marketing materials including creatives / teaser of the Film as illegally released by JA Entertainment."

Earlier in the week, John Abraham Entertainment had released a statement stating how the production house had terminated its contract with KriArj and said the film would release on May 4th. KriArj had then filed an FIR against the actor alleging he had financially cheated them. 

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film was to release in December 2017 but its release date got delayed. The film also stars Diana Penty.
