Called ‘The Cover Up’, the tone of this fifth episode is more along series (corporate-y) lines and all the fun and games one gets to experience in the first four parts, suddenly vanishes. Val (voice by Mindy Kaling), Tyler (voice by Ben Feldman) and even Duncan mean business and do everything in their capacity to keep the inspector from calling their mistakes out.&nbsp;

 
Frankly, the episode is a complete U Turn from its feel-good predecessors and provides very minimal visual relief as far as lightening the mood goes—the whole episode is based out of a dingy office floor.

 
However, Pixar’s done one lesson right through ‘The Cover Up’—teach kids the value of team spirit and how not to be a snitch. Just come to work, mingle and ‘cha-cha the night away!’&nbsp;

The employees at Monsters Inc. are moving over the organizational changes, and fresh hire Tyler Tuskman (voice by Ben Feldman) is warming up to his team members at Monsters Inc. Facilities Team (pompously called MIFT) although Val Little’s (voice by Mindy Kaling) repeated declaration of her being ‘best friends’ with him is irksome. “I don’t remember!” he screams.&nbsp;

 
Baddie Duncan at MIFT is a self-appointed supervisor of the duo who—along with the rest of the team—is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the damaged kid room is restored back to its original form. A former monster-turned-jokester’s sneeze caused the mayhem. &nbsp;

 
Unlike the first two, this third episode focuses on a handful of characters and creator (Roberts Gannaway) slowly but surely bridges the gap between monsters and humans. For instance, Mike (voice by Billy Crystal) has forged a friendship with the baby girl—he calls her ‘little Snore’—he babysits while the damaged room undergoes reconstruction, and Val confides in a visibly irritated Tyler that she ‘remembers’ so much of him because no one noticed her at Monsters University.&nbsp;

 
Through a serious of laughable moments, the writers of this Pixar TV series humanize demons and how they are—after all—not so different from humans. That they, too, feel feelings: of love, jealousy, insecurity and long for emotional bonds.

Monsters Inc. had a management reshuffle but new ‘scarer’ recruit Tyler Tuskman (voice by Ben Feldman) doesn’t know that yet. After toiling hard at the Monsters University’s School of Scaring, purple-hued, two-horned Tuskman is now faced with an adverse situation at work: his scary services are no longer needed or welcome. “It is laughter we are after,” exclaimed new CEO Sully (voice by John Goodman) and his perpetually chirpy second-in-command Mike (voice by Bily Crystal) nodded in agreement.

 
With the company—that’s energy-based and where monsters once fed off children’s screams—taking a detour and hiring jokesters instead for recharging their batteries, class-topper Tuskman figures he has no job “unless he makes a kid laugh.” And, since he is the offspring of a hard-working hardware store couple, the Monsters Inc. Facilities Team (pompously called MIFT) thought it was only logical for him to follow suit and the eccentric team absorbs him. Tuskman despises the crew for sucking him into their ‘weird’ mess.

The adorable beasts that had circled around our hearts in its original version back in 2001 are out; new, personable and hyperactive characters are introduced. Although we are only two episodes in, the trope and the underlying metaphor seem&nbsp;all too typical: barbaric to basic, dread to dance and so on and so forth.&nbsp;
