According to prominent football journalists, Bayern will reportedly pay a sum of $60m for the services of the 22-year-old. He will be a big addition to the midfield and a perfect replacement for Leon Goretzka who is linked with a move away from the club. While the playmaker’s 2023-24 season was hampered with injuries he still ended up scoring 10 goals in 19 matches in the Premier League. However, it was the 2022-23 season where he made his mark having missed only one Premier League match and was an ever-present in the midfield for Palace.

He will join Vincent Kompany’s roster as he prepares to take charge of the side in the coming days. Bayern’s transfer deals with London clubs in recent times have been the highlight reel having signed Harry Kane in the summer of 2023 which was followed by Eric Dier’s switch in the winter as both arrived from Tottenham Hotspur.
