In a bizarre incident, a Milwaukee man was accused of biting off the fingertip of&nbsp;a person in 2023.

Nathan Landsee pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and battery charges on October 21 and has been found guilty for both counts, according to reports.

According to the court documents, the incident happened at a wedding at The Club at Lac La Belle in the town of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Officers were dispatched to the venue after a complaint that “someone had their fingertip bitten off”, Fox6 reported.

At the scene of the incident, officers said Landsee “was sitting on a couch with blood on his sleeve, which did not appear to be from him. There was also blood on the floor between the foyer and the ballroom…There were several people remaining inside of the venue who appeared to have been disturbed by this incident, including some who were crying.”

A witness told the investigators that two incidents happened, the “original incident that occurred was when the defendant had inappropriately touched another guest,” the complaint says. When nearby guests got upset by this, the “defendant began to yell and became very agitated.”

The defendant was moved aside to a room away from the main ballroom. “The bride and groom at the venue were trying to calm the defendant down, which led to the second incident,” the complaint said. After a short time, “the defendant began yelling loudly and was disorderly again.”

Another witness who entered the room said that it “reached a point where they needed to ask the defendant to leave.” After this, the defendant became even more agitated and continued to be loud.

The first witness said he was told to leave within five minutes,&nbsp;otherwise, they would call the police. A scuffle broke out and when three others had to pin the defendant to the ground, “the defendant bit off the tip of someone's finger.”

A police sergeant said, “The victim's injuries were significant. It appeared that approximately a half-inch of the finger had been bitten off.”

The defendant was cooperative with the police and appeared “highly intoxicated”.

Landsee told police that “he did not know what happened, but that everyone was grabbing him and someone put their hand inside of his mouth, so he bit down.”&nbsp;

A sentencing and restitution hearing is scheduled for December 13, this year.

Coachella Valley, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said he was believed to be part of a so-called sovereign citizens group, who do not believe in any government statutes unless consented by them, however, during an interview with a reporter, he denied it.

Mindy Robinson, Miller’s partner at America Happens said that the accusations don’t make sense on social media on Sunday.

“There isn’t a universe (where) his intention was to kill Trump,” Robinson wrote. “He’s worked too hard in this movement to expose the Deep State and all the people against him.”

Robinson described Miller as a “good guy with a gun”.

“I firmly believe this is 100% some kind of set-up in retribution for exposing it,” Robinson wrote on her social media handle.

Miller has been booked for possessing&nbsp;a loaded firearm and high-capacity magazine, as per authorities. He was released on a $5,000 bail on Saturday and will appear at the Indio Larson Justice Center on Jan. 2, 2025, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The FBI, the Secret Service and the Sheriff’s Department are still investigating the incident.

The Singapore state courts&nbsp;on Wednesday found the accused, Ooi Chuen Wei, 37, from Malaysia, guilty of “cheating by personation” and sentenced him to three years and four months in prison, says a CNN report. 
 
Ooi set up a fake profile on Facebook to contact the women, asking them to fill out surveys that included questions about their genitals and sex lives, according to court documents seen by CNN.

He used a random photograph of a Malaysian woman as his profile picture, added both male and female Facebook friends and created an Instagram and LinkedIn profile using the same name to make his account seem more legitimate, said reports.

He then identifying female victims to target and sent them a message introducing himself as Dr Lee and offered to share a medical plan for monthly consultations. He then asked the victims to send videos to enable him to diagnose any health issues, so he could provide them a treatment plan. 
 
Over a period of four years, the accused duped 38 women and received close to 1,000 intimate photos and videos in return. 
 
The offenses came to light last July when a woman, who had grown suspicious of Ooi and realised that there was no such doctor, lodged a complaint with the police.

The police then raided Ooi’s home and seized his devices. During investigation and questioning by police, the accused course of the police investigation, he admitted tricking the women, according to the court documents. 
 
Deputy public prosecutor R. Arvindren asked for a prison sentence of at least three years and eight months for Ooi, citing the large number of victims and how long the accused had continued his deception. 
 
“The accused executed a carefully thought out scheme to satisfy his sexual desires,” Arvindren said. 
 
“(He) pretended that he was a female doctor and deceived several victims into sending various compromising photographs and videos of themselves. (He) has abused the trust the public has for doctors and he has exploited social media to commit the crimes,” he added.

In another case of brutal sexual assault in Haryana, a 50-year-old man was arrested for allegedly mutilating the private parts of a 10-year-old girl by inserting a wooden object, police said today.

The incident, which took place yesterday in an area near Pinjore, comes barely days after two minor Dalit girls were allegedly raped and killed in separate incidents in the state. In one of the cases, a 15-year-old school student, was brutally assaulted and her private parts mutilated.

The girl&#39;s family has lodged a complaint, following which the man was arrested and booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, Assistant Sub-Inspector, Pinjore police station, Brij Pal said.

The man, who is a distant relative of the victim, allegedly inserted a wooden object into her private parts, police said.

The officer said that as per the complaint given to the police the accused had not raped the girl, but assaulted her in a brutal manner.

&quot;According to the complaint, the accused mutilated the private parts of the girl,&quot; Pal said.

The girl&#39;s mother found her crying and rushed her to a hospital in Panchkula. The crime was allegedly committed when she was playing outside her house, he said.

The matter is being investigated. The man and the girl&#39;s family hail from Uttar Pradesh and have been living in an area near Pinjore for the past many years, the assistant sub-inspector said.

Opposition Congress in Haryana has alleged that these shocking incidents were a grim reminder of how the law and order situation in the state had deteriorated in the past three years.

These cases come close on the heels of another incident last month, in which a six-year-old girl was raped and killed in Haryana&#39;s Uklana area in Hisar district.&nbsp;

S Bhojwani was apprehended at about 3:40 am yesterday when the CISF personnel, deployed for airport security, found him roaming suspiciously inside the Terminal-3 (T3) building of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), a senior official involved in the airport security said.

Bhojwani told the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel that he had entered the terminal to see off his wife, who was travelling to Moscow, the official said, adding he told them that he used a cancelled ticket to enter the airport.

The man was subsequently handed over to police, he said.

A police report in this regard was lodged on Friday following the posting of the photo. 
 
Ahmad said that the suspect would be remanded at the Johor Baru court for investigations under relevant provisions of the law which carries a maximum fine of 50,000 Malaysian Ringgit ($12,526) or up to a year&#39;s jail, or both upon conviction. 
 
A task force had been formed within the police force to monitor, identify and take action against those who misuse social media, Ahmad said.

'The photo has insulted and hurt the feelings of Malaysians,' the police chief said

A 76-year-old man in Malaysia has been arrested for allegedly sharing a "crude" photo of Prime Minister Najib Razak on a WhatsApp group which "insulted and hurt feelings of Malaysians", a media report said today. The elderly man, who goes by the name Pa Ya, was arrested in Kampung Tunku, Petaling Jaya yesterday, Johor police chief Comm Datuk Wan Ahmad Najmuddin Mohd said. The suspect, who can be fined over $12,000 or jailed for a year or both, had uploaded the photo into a WhatsApp group called "Bicara Politik Melayu", The Star reported. Police arrested him for sharing a crude photo insulting the Prime Minister in a WhatsApp group, the report said. "The photo has insulted and hurt the feelings of Malaysians," he said in a statement, adding that the man's mobile phone has also been seized. A police report in this regard was lodged on Friday following the posting of the photo. Ahmad said that the suspect would be remanded at the Johor Baru court for investigations under relevant provisions of the law which carries a maximum fine of 50,000 Malaysian Ringgit ($12,526) or up to a year's jail, or both upon conviction. A task force had been formed within the police force to monitor, identify and take action against those who misuse social media, Ahmad said. "I advise the public against misusing social media applications without thinking about the consequences. We will not hesitate to take action and eventually charge those who do," he added. (PTI)
