The accusations make the Egyptian billionaire the latest high-profile figure to join a list of rich and powerful men, such as Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, disgraced by sexual abuse allegations.

"The response has simply been enormous," the lawyers said in a statement.&nbsp;

"We can confirm that we now represent 60 survivors as part of our claim, with more to come."

The legal team said that since going public following the television expose, they had been contacted by people from all over the world.

"Our claim is becoming increasingly global in scope... We expected that anywhere Mohamed Al-Fayed went, abuse would follow," the statement read.

"Sadly this has proven to be true.&nbsp;

"We are now in possession of credible evidence of abuse at other Al-Fayed properties and businesses, including Fulham Football Club."&nbsp;

British prosecutors have said they twice received evidence against Fayed.

In 2008, Fayed was accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) reviewed evidence in 2009.&nbsp;

In 2013, he was accused of raping a woman, a claim investigated in 2015.

In both instances, the CPS, which decides on prosecutions in England and Wales, said there was no "realistic prospect of conviction" and did not bring charges against the Harrods chairman.

The lawyers said they would continue to respond to inquiries from potential victims or witnesses and called for an "independent and transparent process to evaluate and adjudicate these claims".

The women they represented, they said, had "lost all faith in Harrods and their processes".

Harrods' managing director, Michael Ward, said this week his former boss presided over a "toxic culture of secrecy, intimidation, fear of repercussion and sexual misconduct".

But he said he had not been "aware of his criminality and abuse" and expressed his "personal horror at the revelations".

Fayed's accusers say the assaults took place in his apartments in London and his properties in Paris, including the Ritz hotel.

Allegations include a repeated pattern of women who underwent a selection process for positions close to Fayed.

Once selected, they were subjected to an "invasive" gynaecological examination, the results of which were shared with Fayed.

The women said that when they tried to complain about their abuse, were threatened by senior security staff, demoted and subject to false allegations until they had "no choice" but to leave Harrods.

Calling the squirrel attack "a new one", the person said that people deboarded the train and got into another carriage. "The conductor then had to lock the doors to stop the squirrels moving up the train," they said.

After reaching the Redhill train station, the staff reportedly tried to remove the rodents.&nbsp;They used broomsticks to get rid of the squirrels and even enticed them using peanuts, but nothing worked.&nbsp;

Insurers of the Bayesian superyacht that sank this month, killing tech entrepreneur Mike Lynch and six others, could be on the hook for at least $150 million, according to the first estimates by industry experts.&nbsp;

The British-flagged 56-metre-long (184-foot-long) yacht, which the experts estimated cost around $40 million, capsized and went down on August 19 within minutes of being hit by a pre-dawn storm while anchored off northern Sicily.

The superyacht's hull was insured against physical damage by yacht insurance provider OMAC and a consortium of insurers including Travelers Companies Inc, Navium Marine and Convex, Reuters reported last week.&nbsp;

Its protection and indemnity (P&amp;I) insurance, which typically covers third-party liability claims including for environmental damage, injury and death, was provided by British Marine. &nbsp;

The hull was likely insured for around $40 million, while the P&amp;I cover would be larger, insurance sources said.

"Our understanding is that the cost of the boat was between $40 and $50 million, so the limit of the hull &amp; machinery policy was probably around those values," said Marcos Alvarez, managing director, of global financial institution ratings at Morningstar DBRS.&nbsp;

The P&amp;I policy would likely be "several multiples" of the hull policy, or $200-300 million, Alvarez added, noting it would also likely cover liability payments even if the captain or crew are found to be negligent.

Prosecutors in the town of Termini Imerese, near Palermo, are investigating the captain and two other crew members. An investigation does not imply guilt or mean formal charges will follow. Prosecutors have said the probe would take time and require salvaging the wreck.

Oscar Seikaly, CEO of broker NSI Insurance Group, which provides yacht insurance, estimated the hull value at $40-70 million but said P&amp;I cover might not total more than $100 million.

P&amp;I insurance would also cover recovery of the Bayesian, said Francesco Dubbioso, country manager for Italy for insurer Alta Signa Europe, who estimated the superyacht's value at $30 million to $40 million.

Reuters is the first to report the potential insurance costs. OMAC, Travelers and Navium Marine did not immediately respond to Reuters' for comment. Convex declined to comment.

The Bayesian disaster, which has puzzled experts who said the boat would have been built to withstand a severe storm, adds to recent woes for yacht insurers, who have faced a raft of hurricane losses in the past few years.

Premium rates have risen by four to five times in the past couple of years in parts of the U.S. and the Caribbean, and yacht insurers have cut the amount of cover they provide because of the risks, Seikaly said.

As a result, insurers have increased rates and re-evaluated their guidelines and risk appetite, according to industry experts.

Concerns about safety at the hotel had been raised by Air India staff before the incident.

Three alleged Islamic State sympathisers have been arrested on charges of plotting the atrocity, which was thwarted with the help of US intelligence.

London's Metropolitan Police has said there was "nothing to indicate that the matters being investigated by the Austrian authorities will have an impact on upcoming events here in London".

The force was working "closely with venue security teams and other partners to ensure there are appropriate security and policing plans in place", a police spokesperson said in a statement.

Fans have been warned on Wembley's website to expect "additional ticket checks" around the stadium.

Swift's return to the British capital, following three sold-out shows in June, also comes two weeks after three young girls were killed in a stabbing at a dance class themed around the pop star's music in northwest England.
