Chandrasekaran, Chairman, TATA Sons, in the presence of&nbsp;Chairman, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Dr. S. Somanath.&nbsp;

The company claims that this facility houses a&nbsp;400mm x 400mm x 400mm metal 3D-printer and a host of other machines that will enable end-to-end manufacturing of a rocket engine under one roof. "The factory has been designed keeping in mind the ability to produce 2 rocket engines per week" it was added.&nbsp;

According to the start-up, they are building 'Agnibaan', a two-stage launch vehicle that is&nbsp;capable of taking payloads of 100 kg to orbits around 700 km high. In 2021, they successfully test fired 'Agnilet' a single-piece 3D printed engine, that was fully designed and manufactured in India.

Powered by engines that use a combination of liquid oxygen and kerosene as fuel, the start-up says that their rocket is configurable by the customer. This means that the customer and the launch requirement will determine the number of engines used in the first stage of the rocket.

Team Agnikul had earlier told WION that they hope to have their maiden rocket launch in 2021. However, post-pandemic they revised the estimate to 2022-end. Prior to an actual orbital launch, the start-up would&nbsp;have to perform multiple tests of their rocket stages, propulsion systems, structures, subsystems, etc., and qualify them.&nbsp;The start-up&nbsp;has raised a total funding of INR 105 Crores ($15Mn), their team added.

According to the ongoing investigation, the organisation was also on the radar of various authorities for selling objectionable religious books in Ajmer. These books were also found in the possession of the two suspects and the agency believes that a book seller was given Rs 300-400 per day for them.

According to Times Now, the NIA has conducted nine raids in various places around Udaipur and they have found mobile phones, SIM cards and laptops along with other incriminating materials.

"This step can be particularly useful for neighbouring countries,&nbsp;and&nbsp;also those countries willing to use the&nbsp;rupee&nbsp;as a base currency for&nbsp;trade&nbsp;diversification in their&nbsp;settlement&nbsp;rules," said Rahul Bajoria, chief&nbsp;India&nbsp;economist at Barclays.

The communication with the Chinese counterparts has become extremely important for the Indian Army in the current situation and as a result, it has taken steps to improve its in-house Mandarin expertise. While there has a significant boost in the Chinese language training programs, the army has also started training a number of junior and senior military commanders in the language.

India reported 16,678 new infection cases, as per the data released by the Union Health Ministry on Monday (July 10), taking the number of active cases in the country to 1,30,713 and total number of Covid cases to 4,36,39,329. As per the figures updated at 8 am, the toll increased to 5,25,454 with 26 new fatalities. As per the ministry, the recovery rate was recorded at 98.50 per cent while active cases make up 0.30 per cent of all the infections. In the last 24 hours, there has been an increase of 2,023 cases in the active caseload, reported by PTI.

The death toll reached 5,25,454 with the fatalities reported. Among the 26 fatalities recorded on Monday, 18 are from Kerala, 4 from West Bengal, 2 from Delhi, and 1 each from Andhra Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh.

The number of cases recorded in Assam increased to 7,26,541 on Monday as 86 additional people had positive tests, as per official health bulletin. Over the past 24 hours, no new fatalities have been reported.

COVID-19: India reports 16,678 new infections, active cases rise to 1,30,713

A United Nations report published on Monday projected India to surpass China as the most populous nation in the world by next year. The report - The World Population Prospects 2022 by the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, Population Division – also said that the world population will be reaching eight million by November 2022.

The growth is expected to remain constant as the projections show that world population will reach 8.5 billion in 2030 and 9.7 billion in 2050. The report went on to say that the population of the world will most probably hit its peak in the 2080s at around 10.4 billion before plateauing and staying at the same level till the end of 2100.

China and India remain the two most populous countries in the world while most than half of the total population growth will be concentrated in just eight countries - Democratic Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, the Philippines and Tanzania.

While China is ahead of India when it comes to total population at this point, projections showed that by 2050, the situation can be completely reversed.

Huawei had moved to the Delhi High Court seeking relief. The court in April stayed the attachment of the accounts of the firm. Huawei had also mentioned in its petition that the I-T department didn't give them any notice and took action which affected their business. 
 
The I-T department has said that they have recovered incriminating evidence against the firm and on the basis of these documents they took the action. 
 
The department had also alleged that the firm was hiding its account books. It said that the firm had given them dump transactions which did not account books and they were unable to identify the veracity of their income. 
 
The I-T officials also wanted to access the email of Yang Yi, the Chief Financial Official of the firm, but the request was denied by the company.
