He was later sent to judicial custody in Tihar Jail. Investigators are now examining whether the shared information could have posed a threat to national security or was meant to enable hostile activity within India. They also said they suspect the woman may have been part of a coordinated honey-trap operation aimed at targeting defence personnel to extract classified information. The probe is now centred on tracking "the digital trail of the communication."
