Keeping all this in mind, the Gujarat Police are on high alert, and all police stations in the state have been instructed to update their records of anti-national elements who have been nabbed and booked in the last 30 years,” said Director General of Police Vikas Sahay. 

After updating the records of such elements, thorough investigations shall be carried out into their current activities. 

Officials say a detailed dossier will be compiled once the investigations are complete. 

“All police stations have been informed and instructed that the investigation must be concluded within 100 hours, ensuring that every anti-national operative in the state is identified, checked, and monitored,” stated Sahay.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>

The suspects were allegedly planning to mix ricin, deadly poison chemical into food and distribute in busy markets across the country. 

This is not the first time this year that the Gujarat ATS has announced the busting of a terror module in the state. 

The agency had earlier this year arrested several Al-Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) terrorists, including a woman from Bengaluru who was allegedly running an online terror module and had links to Pakistani contacts.

<p>This comes after the French court finally allowed the passengers to leave France four days, following which the Nicaragua-bound aircraft, an Airbus A340, landed in Mumbai on December 26.</p>

<p>The plane landed in Mumbai had a total of 276 passengers onboard. Reports citing a top state Crime Investigation Department (CID) official, said that at least 60 out of the total passengers were from Gujarat. These people have already arrived in their native state and their interrogation is undergoing.</p>

<p>Notably, the police authorities are trying to find out if these people boarded a '<a href="https://www.wionews.com/world/explained-donkey-flights-what-it-means-and-the-modus-operandi-behind-risky-border-crossings-674766">donkey flight</a>' to seek entry into the US and if they aspired to do that after reaching Latin America.&nbsp;</p>

<p>"They were sent back from France. There was a rumour they had planned to enter the US illegally after landing in Nicaragua. In their statements, they told us they were going there as tourists. We are going into the details to find out who were the agents behind their trip," S P Rajkumar, Additional Director General of Police, CID - Crime and Railways, reportedly said.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The top IPS officer said,&nbsp;"We are verifying their documents to ascertain whether they used genuine or forged documents to proceed to Central America. We will also check their financial transactions because, ideally, they should not have paid more if they were going there as normal tourists and not with any other intention."&nbsp;</p>

<p>"Police will coordinate with the passengers when they reach Gujarat from Mumbai to find out the agents and agencies involved and whether documents provided to them to migrate to the US and other countries were forged," Kharat said.</p>

<p>The SP said that the police officials will also make efforts to learn about the number of people who have flown abroad in a similar way as well as those who have been seeking to travel in this manner.</p>

<p>He said that the investigation will be carried out by the Gujarat police and they will try to understand how the agents operate.</p>

<p>"Different agencies use different modus operandi based on the requirement of persons seeking to migrate like whether they require forged documents etc., and rates are fixed accordingly," said the SP, further stating that they will question the victims and the police will try to reach the kingpin.</p>

<p>Romanian charter company Legend Airlines was operating the charter flight - which was bound for Nicaragua from Dubai - and had landed at Vatry, close to Paris, for a technical stopover when it was detained by the French police.</p>
