The footage of the infuriated flight attendant has been shared widely in which she can be seen yelling at the passenger in French and English. She called the police and asked the passenger to get off the flight.

Bette Nash, who took the job of stewardess during the Eisenhower Administration, breathed her last on May 17 when she was in hospice care after she was diagnosed with breast cancer,&nbsp;ABC News reported.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“Bette was a legend at American and throughout the industry, inspiring generations of flight attendants,” stated American&nbsp;Airlines, in a social media post. “Fly high, Bette. We’ll miss you," it added.&nbsp;

Nash began her career at the age of 21 in 1957 as a flight attendant and became a member of now-defunct Eastern Airlines, as reported by the Association of Professional Flight Attendants.

Eventually, the octogenarian was employed by American Airlines after it purchased many of Eastern’s routes in the 1990s.

“Bette’s remarkable career spanned over six decades, during which she touched countless lives with her warmth, dedication, and unparalleled service,” said the APFA, in a statement.

“Her passion for flying and her commitment to her passengers were truly inspiring. Bette’s legacy will forever be remembered in the aviation community and by all who had the privilege of knowing her," it added.

In 2022, the Guinness World Record gave her the title of world’s longest-serving flight attendant in 2022, which she still holds. She is known to have flown for 70 years of her life.

“I love my people. I know my customers. I know what they want. The airline thinks names are important, but I think people’s needs are very important. Everybody wants a little love," she said to CNN.

In a bizarre incident, a passenger aboard a United Airlines flight had to be held back after attempting to jump out of the plane&nbsp;following an altercation where he allegedly punched a flight attendant.

The incident transpired on a flight bound for Houston, Texas from San Francisco earlier this week, just when the plane was about to take off, according to US media reports.&nbsp;

Naya Jimenez, one of the passengers on the flight, captured the entire incident on her camera which is now going viral on social media platforms. She claimed that the man became embittered and violent after she asked him and his wife to move out of her assigned seat.&nbsp;

“They had to bring in a gate attendant to try to talk to them.&nbsp;Then, he began slurring his speech a little bit,” Jimenez was quoted as saying by ABC7.&nbsp;

Afterwards, the out-of-control passenger proceeded to physically assault the flight attendant who was punched several times, as seen in the footage.&nbsp;

Fortunately enough, the flight crew rushed in and managed to pull back the irate passenger to safety. The 47-year-old unruly man was arrested by San Franciso police on charges related to battery and assault.&nbsp;

“We’re grateful to our team in San Francisco for their professionalism in this situation and for looking out for the safety of our customers and their fellow United employees.”&nbsp;

A US passenger was arrested for allegedly stabbing a flight attendant using a metal spoon and attempting to open an exit door while he was on board a United Airlines flight,&nbsp;prosecutors said on Monday.

Francisco Severo Torres, a 33-year-old resident of Massachusetts, was arrested on Sunday after the plane landed at Boston Logan International Airport after flying from Los Angeles, stated the US Attorney's Office for Massachusetts.

Torres, who lives in Massachusetts' Leominster, is facing charges of attempted interference with flight attendants and crew members using a dangerous weapon, it said in a statement.

Torres, who was sitting near the door, was confronted by the flight attendants and the captain was notified that "they believed Torres posed a threat to the aircraft," the prosecutors said.

Shortly afterwards, a flight attendant was allegedly attacked by Torres with a broken metal spoon, "hitting the flight attendant on the neck area three times," said the US Attorney's Office.

"Passengers then tackled Torres and he was restrained with the assistance of flight crew," it added.

United Airlines issued a statement saying that "no serious injuries were reported."

Nearly 13 close contacts of the man have been traced and quarantined, which includes his crew and airline colleagues, according to media reports.

Since May, nearly 2,100 cases have been detected in close to 42 countries.

This marks the first recorded case of monkeypox in all of South-East Asia that is associated with the recent global outbreak of the disease.&nbsp;

The World Health Organization (WHO) claims that more than 80 per cent of the cases have been recorded in Europe. However, the disease has also spread to other regions like North America, South America, and even Australia.

Typically, monkeypox occurs in remote parts of central and west African nations; however, there has also been a mysteriously high number of infections outside of Africa this year with no travel associations to the region.

Monkeypox is caused by the monkeypox virus, a member of the same family of viruses as smallpox. The risk of the disease remains low as transmission between humans requires close and direct physical contact with infectious lesions or ulcers.

The “Fly with Pride” plane is a special plane unveiled by Alaska Airlines to celebrate Pride Month and it witnessed a beautiful moment this week when a flight attendant went down on her knees to propose to her girlfriend. The moment took place around 30,000 feet up in the air with an airplane full of people cheering them. Veronica Rojas, a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines’ regional partner SkyWest, met Alejandra Moncayo on a flight almost two years ago and it was almost poetic that the couple got engaged mid-air on a special flight which was described as a “Pride delight” flight.

The airline shared a video of the proposal on social media which showed Rojas proposing over the telecom system in both English and Spanish. Rojas went down to her knee to propose to Moncayo and as she said yes, the other crew members as well as the passengers broke out in applause.

“I’ve always appreciated Alaska; how deeply involved they are in the LGBTQ+ community,” Rojas said. “All the love and support are just super overwhelming and amazing,” she added.

According to a statement from Alaska Airlines, Moncayo had similar plans when the flight landed. She was in talks with the airlines about proposing to Rojas at the end of the flight but with Rojas asking the question mid-air, the couple celebrated the moment when the flight landed.

"My stars struck colleague spotted Indian and Sri Lankan cricketers in the elevator of Hotel Juhu Centaur, Mumbai and decided to meet them in their room for autographs. I decided to chaperone her, fearing for her safety, we were offered drinks (perhaps laced) I declined and stuck to my bottle of water I'd brought along. They were 7 and we 2, they latched the room door putting the chain secure. My discomfort growing inside of me, I urged her to get back to our room.
