Hoffman is among a number of rich and famous men who have been accused of sexual misconduct since October when Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual assault. 
 
Hoffman`s accuser, Anna Graham Hunter, said in a Nov. 1 story in The Hollywood Reporter that Hoffman was flirtatious, grabbed her buttocks and talked about sex in front of her when she was a 17-year-old intern on a film set in 1985.&nbsp;

On Monday Hoffman added that, &quot;it didn`t happen the way she reported,&quot; according to a Deadline Hollywood account of the exchange in New York.

Meryl Streep has responded to an old interview in which she had claimed that actor Dustin Hoffman had groped her the first time she had met him.&nbsp; 
 
In a 1979 interview with the TIME magazine, Streep had said she had met Hoffman during a play audition which the actor was directing. &quot;He came up to me and said, &lsquo;I&#39;m Dustin - burp - Hoffman,&rsquo; and he put his hand on my breast,&rdquo; Slate reports the interview as saying.&nbsp;&quot;What an obnoxious pig, I thought,&quot;the actress was quoted as saying.&nbsp;
